Theres nothing bad about SD625 though as it is very power efficient, RN4x to speak. Wait til dec 10 for big announcement. Merry Christmas!

According to Qualcomm Snapdragon official website sd625 soc doesn't support 18:9 or full vision display but I don't understand how can Xiaomi Redmi note 5 support sd625 soc for 18:9 display anyone can explain it.....?

If it doesn't have a SD 630 and SD 660 for the top model + more 4GLTE bands, I say, sincerely, F U Xiaomi! You messed it up with the Redmi Note 4 not going for a better chip, don't make the same mistake again...

I don't mind if they launch this phone with a single camera only if it is improved. They may perhaps launch 3 variants (3+32 @1100 Yuan, 4+64 @1300 Yuan and one with SD 636/660 @1500 Yuan). It will sell like hotcakes if it turns out like this.

Musang King, 27 Nov 2017You're truly Xiaomi fanboy and you still praise Xiaomi eve... moreso be it I'm a Xiaomi fan lol I love affordable devices and xiaomi delivered unlike other manufacturers selling phones whit the same processor with a higher price and a poor service center for example Asus zenfone 3 sd625 it cost like $400-$450 but xiaomi with redmi note 4 SD625 cost $190-$210 with same internals axiaomi os keeps improving plus XDA or rooting scene still support xiaomi devices I love rooting phones since samsung, asus and now xiaomi who doesn't like affordable devices lol

Maybe they will bring Redmi 5 with 5.5 inch 18:9 display & SD 625 and Redmi note 5 with 6 inch 18:9 display with SD 636. Xiaomi never goes wrong when it comes to hardware.

I like the SD625 I'm using Mi max 2 it's impossible to drain bat at one go at first I was skeptical about sd625 on mi max 2 since I too have Mi Max sd650 and sd652 I thought it's underpowered but i was wrong it's almost the same performance only mi max 2 has higher bat and has longer bat life sd630 or up is probably clocked higher than 625 and it will consume more battery than 625. anyways either sd625 or 630 or even 660 id still buy this xiaomi made phones affordable even my 2 1st gen mi max is still running never had any issues unlike other brand just 1 week 2times trip to the service center because of overheating abnormally and might explode again.

These info are fake. Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625
Support maximum resolution of 1920x1200.
They can't use this SOC with this LCD.

Using this old processor will be the biggest mistake in Best selling model Xiaomi.
Early 2018 new phones will be from Snapdragon 630 and 636 or pro edition 660
This Xiaomi's work is really unfortunate

It should be in Snapdragon.MTK chips set phones have security issues such as third party unlocking....

This better be actually has the SD630 at the least, or the SD636. I also wish there is another version that has MTK X30 like at the Redmi Note 4, it also has an MTK X20 available.
