When xiaomi release the red mi note 4 on August 2016 they release ut with mediathech helio x20.
Because that what they had in stock , they get good price fo the helio x20 so they could ship for good retaile price.
I febuary 2017 they release the 4x eith sd 625 because they recieved it for good price so they can keep the low retaile price with good phone specifications .
Now 5hey have a big stock of sd 625 that they have to release it , that why they are going to use the sd 625 on the note 5 , later on they will release the nite 5x with a better chipset like the sd 630 or 636

Even with the overuse of SD625 by Xiaomi, I find it hard to believe they will retain the same processor. SD 636 is too new so it will 99% be SD 630.
Unfortunately, no true successor to the RN3 in terms of raw performance.

That's right dude, a rumor is just a rumor. Wait 'til the actual phone and specs will be released. Also if the specs will be the one posted in this website. Then, I has it's purpose then. Don't dwell on the numbers of the specs given, know it's purpose , concept and capabilities. Don't expect too much for a mid-ranged phone. Peace y'all!

Better wait for official launch because it is useless to speculate or to praise/bashing the rumored specs. At this moment no body really knows the actual specs except for those who involved in developing Redmi Note 5. After the official launchs then if you satisfied with the specs you can either praise or buy it and if you are not satisfied then you can bashing its all day long.

This article says that Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Snapdragon 625 and 1080 x 2160 pixels display.
But Snapdragon 625 supports only up to 1900x1200.
Is it true Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has 1080 x 2160 pixels display ?

It looks okey, but if it comes with the same specs as the previous RM note 4x, it wouldn't be a real upgrade. Hope its camera sensor is better than its predecessor.

make your own phone guys. xiaomi is offering the best possible phone that they can make. and here you are complaining on the "still rumored phone". if you want to buy it, then go. get a different phone if you don't like the specs for this rumored phone.
i've had a couple of mobile products from xiaomi, and they are great. they're still handy and i can say they're worth their price.peace y'all.

All hopes and dreams are crushed. Just don't buy it. The phone is targeted for old people only as it will come with the same old snapdragon 625 chipset once again. Time to go for honor 7x. I consider the redmi note 5 a downgrade for 2018.
