I think $150 is too cheap. Also it's will be better if it can shoot 4K, have usb Type-C and the most important feature: 3.5mm jack...

Few errors in the description.
USB-C will be used instead of microUSB.
No hybrid slot (Note 5A as well)
Lower capacity battery (3750mAh)
But other than that, if 18:9 screen becomes a reality, then it's a no-go for me. Viewing cropped content all the time isn't an option for me.

Redmi note 6x would have SD670 so perhaps redmi note 5 will have SD660.

Looks too good to be true for the price. Xiaomi could kill their own other products with that spec. Snapdragon 630 and standard 1080p screen are more likely to be used.

The phone looks great and all but we all know his weak spot the camera. Hope they can finally make a good redmi camera phone if they nail that everything thing else would be irrelevant. SD 660 + 4000 mah battery and and this full vision display what more can u ask considering the price point.

The only expectations I have are Quick Charge, NFC, and Gorilla Glass. Actually, I'm in for barely a Redmi Note 4 with Quick Charge and GG on the same price, although admittedly, Snap 660 would be more than amazingly great.

Xiaomi always far away interms of specs .
Best compitator to existing brands and even for upcoming brands .
Hence proved with note 3 and note 4.
But I can literally say Lenovo is best compitator if incase Lenovo will come a bit forward .
