Sometimes multi touch doesn't work. If you're tapping on one part with 1 finger the second finger cannot swipe down notification bar.

After update battery drain is worse. Also they said they've removed but no you need to go to installed apps and uninstall manually. Apart from that I don't see any difference in speed or ram management. Oh and yes heating issue is there too with new update.

It wants to update to miui 9.6.4.0 stable.
should I go with it ? Does battery and camera performance change for the better or worse ? Any reason not to update ?

Boi, 06 Sep 2018Some colours are faded in Redmi Note 5 Pro/AI like blue, ye... moreI don't know man like I said earlier I've tested them both and found Redmi note 5 pro display had better detail, like face contours, skin colours like slight red on cheeks etc. Hairs and skin colour. Redmi note 4 have smooth like effect on faces no detail compared to Redmi note 5 pro. I'm a person who like good contrast and popping displays too and Im looking at both Redmi note 4 and Redmi note 5 pro to make sure and i still think note 5 pro have better display.

I bought last week and upgraded to oreo but the heating issue is present even while simply watching YouTube without multi-task. Don't know if this issue arrived after latest miui update or from out of the box!?

9.5.17 build also Oreo build but you cannot flash these rom from 9.5.19 or 9.6.4
flashing 9.5.17 and older version will brick your device..

After Oreo... moreDude... 9.5.19 is oreo build... from this build onward xiaomi implemented antirollback protection.. you can only downgrade antirollback enabled ROM i.e you can flash or downgrade to any version between 9.5.19 to 9.6.4
