Phone purchased in mid July 2018. Worked ok until a few days ago update was done by Xiomi. Since then phone is taking more than 8/9 hours to charge from 10% to 98/99%.Several other discussion threads on internet forums point to similar issues.Should I get a replacement under warranty?

After updating MIUI 9.6.3.0 Charging taking too much time, 1hr charging only 20% charge..

Since day before yesterday my Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's battery is draining very quickly like I have to charge it 2 times a day, has anyone else having this issue?

Atharkhan, 26 Aug 2018Cons / Things I don't like : *Display size over 5 inch. ... moreYou cannot find good smartphone with physical capacitive buttons anymore. Even flagships are coming with in screen buttons. It is it's display is big like size of redmi note 4 but due ro less bezel in sides its the same size as note 4( I've personally sized them side by side). It is however taller in height but all phones are coming with 18:9 display these days. It's the trend of 2018 latest. Rear camera can be protected using back case. Even cheap ones can protect. So everything is fine

Cons / Things I don't like :
*Display size over 5 inch. 5.5 still acceptable but not 6 inch for me.
*Rear/back/main camera is mounted on side and its bulgy and can get easily scratched.
*No capacitive navigation buttons, on screen given which is not good.

I am facing same issue... Lagging issue... If you go to pics by pressing recent pics.. Even this icon lags... I hv 9.6.3.... I hope xiaomi fix it up

I am facing some issues with the camera after the recent update. it takes too long to open n between switching modes. the portrait mode gets stuck. it takes a lot of time processing the photo after u hav taken it too. and in that time camera cannot be used. its becoming frustrating. anyone else facing the same problem or is it just me ?

Even on previvous versions didnt face any issues as such.
May be you should try reinstalling chrome or resetting device.

Only while playing heay games, having extra ram will just help you resume game after you minimize them, and those wont restart, as it happens sometimes in 4gb one, where those are autokilled if in background.
Otherwise 4gb is more than sufficient....

All features are awesome.. perfect phone.
But please provide upgradation for manual mode in camera...
Add some extra features..there is only ISO & WB.
