If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, then the fish should not exist. Xiaomi makes functional phones for every budget, and this phone is good for people that don't need 4K video recording, or 150k antutu points for games, or whatever top of the tech gimmics. Now let me ask you a rhetorical question: what do you do with your handheld 4K recordings of your dog or birthday party? I bet you don't even have a 4K tv set, so why do you need 8 million pixels, 30 frames? To see in beautiful crisp colors some things you don't even need after you watched... This phone costs 200 dollars, and for this price offers quite a lot. Ah, I see, it's not an iPhone.

                  wtf is wrong with people!? why do people love this phone so much!? it sucks!! it has micro usb port, it's stuck running on nougat, and the camera doesn't record 4k video (even tho the chipset is capable of it)!! it's a piece of trash!!

                      Do not over charge, as it may impact battery.

                      You can follow a cycle as 30%-90% for prolonged life. Charge till 90% and reconnect charger at 30%. Going to 100% wont have much impact but do disconnect as soon as it is full.
                      Depleting it frequently to 0% and charging it after 100% will only degrade battery life.

                        cmti4404, 20 Jun 2018If you just need that 4k camera, yes. But thats the only reason.Note 5 pros hardware is capable of 4k and you can utilize its potential using Open Camera app from playstore which has support for 4k video recording.

                        Sadly preinstalled camera app doesnot support 4k as of now, but may be with future update.
