I recently got the pie update and I can tell that my phone is running smoothly, so far all the features I've tested are working perfectly fine, the update is almost 2GB tho, but so far, everything works better

Recently I've been having a problem. My device's system updated itself so when I take a photo with the portrait mode it says that the blur adjust is not available for that photo.
It is only when restart my device that the blur adjustment is available for the same photo...

After updating to pie i cannot use both wifi and hotspot at a time but it is used before updating to pie i can switch on both wifi and hotspot at a time.

Yesterday on 6th May 2019, I got the update MIUI 10.3.2.0 - PEKMIXM Android Pie! The upgrade was 1.7GB and it is running smoothly. I have not checked everything thoroughly but i can see that some lags i had when running Oreo are gone. The fingerprint is reading faster and the wake up function is buttery smooth with Android Pie. Good work Xiaomi.

I try to reset my phone .... but for start up need MIUI to unlock, MIUI saying go to nearest service centre, that 5000 km away
so Guys.... why you go for this... I decided say bye to Redmi

RN6PRO is a really good phone, been using it for 1 month and no problems at all, the sound quality and loudness is a joy and the camara is above most midrangers level, the call quality is really good too, the only flipside I found is the fingerprint sensor speed, its quite accurate but its a tad slow sometimes

Mykie, 30 Mar 2019I'm also in Nairobi...was thinking of buying this phone. Ap... more None that I can point out for now.. really good specs for the price. Face unlock not too important as the fingerprint sensor works like a charm and good enough for me. Had the device about two weeks now and i'm in love. Debated about getting this and the Y9 (Huawei) and this won me over. Switched from Huawei to this and have no regrets. The Y9 seemed to be a better handset (with a more superior chip etc) but this won me over as I don't like very big phones, the Y9 has a 6.5'' screen. The Mi A2 was also a better option but no headphone jack and no USB port. Also battery is 3000mah compared to this. So far I am loving the experience with this. Pick up my phone more and more now for no reason :-) Try this. You won't regret it.
