Great phone for a budget of 200$, dual pixel autofocus and large camera sensor if 1.4um make the 12 mp rear camera challenge more expensive phones like honor 8x, Nokia 7.1 and mi a2.
Great deal with no doubt, you will get great screen display, good rear and front cameras with a manual mode for advanced photography, good battery and infrared port for using it as a remote too.
After using it , the drawbacks are the big notch, no front flash, doesn't look premium built, no type-C port.

I am also attempting to contact Xiaomi to get information about the guarantee and determine whether parts are available for Xiaomi cels in Mexico, where they are being sold. But no one has been able to explain this. (The distributor's guarantees are only for 3 months).

I have been assuming that the Xiaomi Redmi Note models come with an removable (when used) stylus, like the Samsung Note models.
Can someone verify (or refute) this assumption for me?

So far so good.
Battery excellent, display is ok great black for a lcd.
Notch and full screen mode is so great looking.
One thing though, notifications doesn't display in notification bar! That is surprisingly studip bug taht is still unresolved.

Just to inform people, this phone supports Apt-x for Bluetooth . I tested with my Apt-x Sony headphones (not sure about Apt-x HD thou). This information is not listed in specs. I have noticed that GSM Arena often miss out this crucial information (for example for some Motorola latest phones). This is important criteria when choosing phone especially now when we see trend of dropping 3.5 mm jack in new phones. So I aks GSM arena to be more accurate on this matter!
