why the hell are people complaining about the 12mp camera for india? its likely you don't need to have higher mp you aren't gonna make a tarpaulins and billboard made from your selfie right? your just uploading it to social media that limits the size of your upload.

Is anyone facing problems like too much miui ads, any hanging etc regarding the phone Redmi note 7 or redmi note 7 pro. I'm eagerly waiting for this phone and also I have not used any phone from redmi/xiaomi yet.So it is but natural to know more about this product,being a fan of galaxy phones.So friends please share some more information about xiaomi redmi phones as I want to get used to Redmi by xiaomi phones.

But in general other displays are not bad, they are actually very good... If your main concern is display then go for Galaxy A8... If you want flagship level performance then Honor Play... If you want all-rounder phone with amazing price tag then Redmi Note 7... Redmi Note 7 is just amazing in this price...

Please help me honestly.. I want to buy anew mobile I use a5 2017 from more than 1 year and half.. I'm very confused between A8 2018,honor play, xiaomi redmi note 7.. Some friends told me that I should go to redmi note 7 because it is strong chipset and strong material with cheap price.. Another friend told me that I should go for honor play.. I don't know the best choice... I used Samsung from a lot of years since galaxy s2.. I don't know if ips lcd screen is good or not.. I don't know if I got redmi note 7 is a good choice or I get honor play or I get a8 2018... I need to know the best choice of them at all thing.. Plz help me

I purchased this phone from my local Mi shop (not online). I was using a Redmi 5 before this phone and a Redmi Note 3 before that. So it is my third Redmi phone. I have been using it for 2 days. First impression.....
When I first took the phone in my hand, the first thing that struck me was how light it was. Maybe I was used to RN3 and Redmi 5 which have metal backs and hence this immediate difference I noticed. Its not light in a good sense but immediately leads one to suspect the long term durability of the phone. Will it bend in the pockets? Will it break if dropped accidently? Only time will tell. On an average both my earlier phones were dropped 3-4 times and they survived.
Second thing is for the price this is an amazing phone. In India there is nothing that even comes close to it at 9999/- in terms of specs.
There are 2 things which I am not happy about. One is the radius on the display which I feel is too large. I say this because when watching videos on You Tube (not stretched to fill the screen), many videos have a part of their corners cut by the fillet. And also if one stretches the video to fill the screen it is also not a natural experience due to the fillets. I feel smaller corners would have been better in terms of design and functionality.
The other point is the placement of the headphone jack. When playing games or watching videos in landscape mode (screen rotated with camera on the left), the headphone jack interferes with the left hand holding the phone making it impossible to hold it properly. In my earlier Redmi's, this jack was placed in the corner so I did not face the issue.
Other than that the phone seems to be working fine. Volume is good. Display is good. Camera is OK not great but acceptable for the price.
