Anonymous, 01 Mar 2019agree. but Redmi note 5 with SD 625 was launched at Rs 9999... moreI will not call it a good deal. Principally you get a worse phone at the same price from last year. Sure you get SD660 compared SD625 last year, but that is an inevitable improvement because of the Sock's evolution itself. So, it is more about sock evolution, rather than upgrade. Now, the camera. it is just about the same camera performance with RN5 which is 2.2 Aperture, 12MP. So, principally you pay the same price for similar product as last year. No improvement at all, except the a slightly better sock due to Snapdragon's sock evolution itself.

Abass, 01 Mar 201912+2 mp..sadagree. but Redmi note 5 with SD 625 was launched at Rs 9999 (i think). Now they launch Redmi note 7 with SD 660 at Rs 9999. so that's a good deal. but camera disappoints.

Sun, 01 Mar 2019Redmi Note 7 vs Galaxy M20, which one is better? One thing you must consider is the international / Chinese variant of RN7 is different from the one released in India. So the Indian version has a 12 MP camera with sensor coming from unknown source (not confirmed Samsung or Sony). So if you refer to the Indian version I would say go for M20 because its an honest product. At least you are getting the same specs that consumers all across the world would get.

Anonymous, 01 Mar 2019They always does this.hype up a product and release someth... moreIt is still not ethical way of selling products. When RN7 was released in China the price was said to be 150/- USD and everyone was saying they would release it at a price of about INR 10000/-. What they have done is released an entirely different phone at same price with lower specs. Why? Why not release the same international product at whatever price that allows them to sell at a reasonable profit?

And if they had to do it why not add a suffix after Redmi Note 7 something like I which would make it clear to buyers that they are buying a product that is different from the international variant.

Anonymous, 01 Mar 2019i would still prefer metal to glassit is a matter of preference. Some people like aluminium better, and others like scatch resistant gorilla glass. For me, both are equally fine, although I might like gorilla glass better because I have more problem of scratching the body than possible bending the phone in my pocket.

What Manu Jain and Xiaomi are doing in India is pure cheating. Releasing a known model with different internals and different specs from global variants. Why?

Are Chinese consumers and consumers in other parts of the world any special when they are charging the same prices. And if they are not giving the same product then why not sell as a different model?

International variants 48 MP. Indian variant 12 MP. International variant twilight gold. Indian variant plain ruby red.

God knows which other parameters they have played around with the cheat Indians into believing they are buying a phone with equivalent specifications. Down with Xiaomi. Down with Redmi. Cheating and misleading products.

Anonymous, 28 Feb 2019yes.. i watched that video....Redmi note 5 pro survivedBut then Redmi Note 5 Pro did not survive the scratch test on the case, on the finger print sensor, and the camera. You only concentrate on the bend test, but not the overal Pro & Cons of each design. One is made of alumnium casing, which is known to have stronger integrity to bend test, but is prone to scratches. The other is made of glass , which is known to be very scratch resistant, but is prone to crack under bend test. Each material has their own Pro & Cons. If you're looking for a glass material which is resistant to bend test, then you should expect the glass be 1 cm thick.
If you are looking for a material which is resistant both to scratches & bend test, then you should be looking for a phone made in stainless steel , or you should invent a new glass material which is resistant to cracks under bend test.....and I suggest you to immediately made a patent for it and sell it to Samsung, Apple, Huawei, Xiaomi, and all others.

Xiaomi make one super device in limited release which u can' t find easily but making u hear the name xiaomi alot along with 2 ,3 other shit devices with the same price and the badest quality which making profits when ordinary people go to the store buying a xiami device that name they have heared. ......I was the biggest fan telling any body in my family and friends how great this brand is till I noticed and understand what they doing really regret that......
