Can't really trust photo samples taken by companies. Theoretically, it should be much superior than RN6 Pro based on the camera specs.

    For the camera and picture quality, RN7 and Honor 8x, which one is better? Does RN7 charge faster than honor 8x or almost same?

      If Redmi Note 7 Pro come with IMX586, then the chipset need to be Snapdragon 855, because only this SD support 48Mpx camera. So the price of Redmi Note 7 Pro will be at least 300$... At the other side, they can make friendship with Huawei for Kirin 970, but this is a bit impossible!

        So no OIS/EIS ?
        Than is 48mpix useless, right?!

              For the price of Honor 8x, you're better off buying Nokia 8.

                not support 4k(2160p@30fps) video recording . please update it
                not support 720p@240fps slow-motion recording why? please update it
                vanish color LED notification. why? for redmi note series important.

                        Anonymous, 13 Jan 2019overall which is better, RN7 or honor 8x?For me personally, Honor 8x. 3 slots , incl. dedicated microsd slot is a big plus for me, not to mention the availability of 6/128GB if you need large storage. The camera in RN7 is even worse than RN6 Pro. Funny colors, greenish tint, too warm, and sometimes too bright....very unpredictable photo quality. Tree leaf suddenly looks like plastic with very shiny surface & unrealistic green color. Note that iphone also have the same tendency of adding the same "wow effects", but the only difference is that it works in the Iphone because the iphone have so much better photo processing. The iphone knows how to add the effects without ruining the whole photo. Where, when, and how much , the Iphone seems to intelligently know the scenes, and it creates the effects necessarily & accurately. Xiaomi wants to imitate the same wow effects, but fail miserably.

                            Honor 8x got dual standby sim and extra micro sd card slot and many features which redmi note 7 doesn't have this.

                                Mantoya, 13 Jan 201948 mp camera just a gimmicks.It can be but do you know why they are 48 mp and how there conversion actually helps. Take the p20 pro as an example. So the right statement would not be that mega pixels are just a gimmick but that they only tell half the story
