Well we really can ssay this phone killed all low and midrange competition.
Samsung can go to corner and cry, same for sony, apple and many other brands with much more exoensive phones with same or worse specs.

Every phone has to have a big drawback and dealbreaker, no 3.5mm, no SD, small battery, huge notch, too heavy etc
The Poco is perfect except the huge notch that leaves no space even for notifications and somewhat the screen quality and the heatpipe behind the battery which heats the battery.
This one has very large bezels. This size is for a 6.4" or 6.5" screen, a 6.3" has to be less wide/tall. Look at Huawei's 6.3" phones sizes, Nova 3, for example, a lot smaller.

I can't find a real cons in this phone. I hate the notch but this one is really small. SD660 is a beast, 4000mah, jack, usb-c, everything is at the right place. It's too big as usual but having used the redmi note 5 pro for months now I got used to the 160mm.

Redmi is it's own company now, like it's owned by xiaomi but you won't see the Xiaomi branding on the phones anymore.

Furthemore RN7 have better battery, bigger and modern screen, android 9.0 pie out of the box. So it's lot of reasons, especially when photo quality is important to you.
