Is there going to be Fix for blurred camera images while making video calls in WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger and Google Duo app using all networks including 4g in future updates?
The camera is clear when taking pictures but horrible when answering video calls. If fixed the phone will be great.

Now install pixel experience on this baby and fall in love again. It's faster, uses less battery. Gaming is somehow better even without the highly convenient game mode. The Google camera is inbuilt and let me tell you, it makes like 1000% difference. Frequent updates too. It's like a whole new phone, without bloatware.

I love this phone it does everything I want it to do! There is a multitude of built in apps like multi functional Calculator BMI, age, currency ect, Calendar app is good but I prefer google calendar, Compass, Clock app for timer, stopwatch and alarm, there's a Themes and Backgrounds app so you don't have to install apps from the play store or download images from the browser which is really nice I'm using isolation backgrounds for mine, Weather app, Screen Recorder app pretty amazing for a budget device, QR code Scanner app, Notes is ok but I prefer Google Keep, Music, Mi Video, Mi Remote if your TV and devices support IR blasting, Mi Browser, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Duo, Google Drive, Digital Wellbeing, Google Chrome, Google Lens, Google Maps, Gallery app, FM Radio, File Manager, playing games is nice on this phone as it has a big screen the teardrop notch isn't really noticeable you can hide it but you'll suffer screen real estate, lag isn't really an issue I just want a device that can handle multiple apps and can open them quickly which this does well, dual apps is great you can open two of the same app and use another account with it, cleaner and security built in I use this regularly. The Samsung 48MP Camera is decent it takes ok shots it blurs around the sides of the image so taking snaps up close is difficult. You can install google camera and play around with it if you don't like the stock camera app. Calls and texts are great and the single loudspeaker is loud the notifications aren't annoying I use nature sound 2 .I use CPL launcher and Pixel pie icon pack and it's fantastic with google feed on right swipe just like on the stock google devices! Overall it's a really nice budget device with lots of features that a lot of other phones don't have at this price.

I have swapped to this phone after using the Redmi 2. Trust me, this is worth the price. ~200€ for this phone is too good. It can (and probably will) compete with newer, more expensive iPhones or Samsungs. People say that the camera is bad, but that is a lie. If you use it right, it can be even better. You have customization over everything.
Pro Tip for all who bought this and have the watermark on the pictures: Go to the camera settings and you will find the option for a device watermark.

Anonymous, 31 May 2020Try using MiFlash to reinstall softwareI did flashing fastboot ROM using Mi Flash Tool after unlocking bootloader but still the problem persists then I installed Orange Fox Recovery and installed Evolution X 4.3 Custom ROM and surprisingly WiFi and Hotspot is working again unlike in MIUI Stock ROM.
