Anonymous, 14 May 2019I have 2 friend which is have note7 and a50, both of them a... moreA50 is way out of price range to compare. I guess you were making a point. How did they compare FPS?
RN7 has minor hiccups while playing PUBG on high graphics (such as during driving) but they're likely to be overlooked by normal users.

As for the issues I mentioned, they are all from the reviews on this very website. It's called a defective product.
so it's not necessary for *all* of their phones to have it but beware that it's possible that yours may - and in Xiaomi phones, that "may" is quite frequent. Your friends will learn about its build quality with time

Aside from slower performance and ads due to MIUI, RN7 battery is indeed disappointing. That was not a defect but a result of having MIUI. Generally, a 3000 mAh phone to lasts around 4 hours in PUBG. RN7 should last at least 5.5-6 hours.
Max Pro M2 lasts 7-8 hours & Realme 3 lasts 6-7 hours (they don't have those hiccups either). OS & Kernel play a very important role in a device's performance.

About Kirin 710, your guess is half right. If I remember it right, they threw in a buffer to help it along but do remember it can't overcome the hardware shortcomings - only push it harder. The thing you should understand about chipsets is that games are often optimised for specific chipsets for better performance. For example, Helio P23 runs PUBG good enough on high graphics but it fails to run some less heavy games like Asphalt 9 smoothly (at the time I looked into it) and couldn't handle PUBG that well either at first.
Kirin 710 is not only a average chipset that is just being pushed harder to perform well but
is also just a Huawei - an uncommon chipset. If you also take into account that you want or *can have* a phone that can handle heavy games in coming 2-4 years, you'll definitely not find it to be that reliable - chipset wise.

Anonymous, 14 May 2019PK, now you proved you don't know what you're talking about... moreI'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about since I gave 4+2 years of my life studying and 3.5 years working in this field.
If you're done with personal attacks, try reading my previous reply again. "A lot" does not mean "all" - if it meant that, you would have never heard of Xiaomi. I was referring to the ratio of defective phones of Xiaomi vs other brands.
It's a fact that that a lot of Xiaomi reviews have at least one or more battery, heating or screen issue reported per page or two. There are 4000 mah battery Xiaomi phones that used to last up to 2 days when they came out but not even a full day after a year of use.

You keep calling Nokia mediocre but don't have a single constructive argument against them. It's up to you where you want to invest your money. I'm just here to help those that have questions. And I understand brand loyalty but don't try to delude others - because spending $200 on a phone is a big deal for far more people than you might think.

Anonymous, 13 May 2019Specs wise, Redmi Note 7 is better if you ignore quality. A... moreI have 2 friend which is have note7 and a50, both of them are pubg player and they are often playing together.
They are already test it at smooth + extreme setting, note7 still have slightly better fps compared to a50, but for batt life a50 slightly better than note7. And also both of them doesnt have any issues like what you said (overheating, screen bleeding, poor build quality, disappointing battery).

So you still insist that x5 have better performance than note7? and dont forget that x5 using downclocked p60 for the global version.

And about kirin 710, how you can say it is not reliable at all? because it is use weaker gpu compared to helio p70/p60/exynos 9610?
Afaik if you talk about pure cpu performance, sd 660/710, helio p60/p70, exynos 9610 and kirin 710, all of them have almost comparable performance.

They "develop overheating over first year"? You realize what nonsense this is, right? Either they are overheating or not. My Redmi is 1.5 years old and has no issues.
On the other hand, i've read reviews about Nokia phones and not only they are mediocre at everything, but they don't have less issues than any other brand.
Nokia WAS known to have less issues. Current Nokia is just another mediocre wannabe

Anonymous, 14 May 2019LOL basically nobody has a Nokia so naturally there will be... moreI beg to differ. Nokia is known for providing one of the best quality phones, customer service and long term OS updates. To top it off, most recent ones run on Android One - the best OS for anyone that understands that any bloatware apps they require can be downloaded from Playstore.

Among the international brands, Xiaomi is among worst in terms of quality and customer service. If you check reviews, a lot of their phones develop 2 common issues within a year: Battery timing & Heating. But now a lot them also have screen issues - even the PocoFone F1.
Best thing about Xiaomi is that it forces other brands to make lower priced phones.

Also, last year, Nokia was top seller in Vietnam.
3rd best seller in SA & Sri Lanka (above Samsung).
4th best in India (if I remember it right).
                    5th best in Europe.
That's more than enough customers to report any problems in their phones.

The sound doesn't come from all over the earpiece in RN7. It comes from only the half of the part. The salesman told me it's the design, not a fault. Is it true or the fault is in my phone?

HDArtworks, 12 May 2019I need a suggestion guys. Which one is better? Redmi No... moreSpecs wise, Redmi Note 7 is better if you ignore quality. Among these, Redmi Note 7 has the most reported issues (overheating, screen bleeding, poor built quality, disappointing battery, customer support). Not to mention, it has ads. But it has a decent camera that supports Night Mode.

Nokia 5.1 Plus is better if you're okay with its battery capacity - which isn't that bad. Its battery lasts about as long as Redmi Note 7 while playing PUBG (4-5 hour) but less in lightweight/normal usage.
It has Android One which means more stability, better performance, better battery, no ads and no bloatwares.
Helio P60 performance is about same as SD 660 but in this case, Nokia 5.1 Plus outperforms Redmi Note 7 because of Android One vs MIUI.
Its quality is confirmed to be good, as you'd expect from Nokia.
Its camera is good but not as good as Redmi Note 7.

I don't recommend Huawei P Smart 2019 because its chipset Kirin 710 isn't reliable at all. It's way below Helio P60 and SD 660. Even lower than SD 636, so you won't have a good gaming experience.

                                    Conclusion:
                                    Battery & Camera = Redmi Note 7
Performance, Stability, Reliability = Nokia 5.1 Plus

I'd go for Nokia 5.1 Plus, but there are better alternatives as well:
                                    Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2
Realme 3 (not the best for watching movies)
                                    Realme U1
                                    Realme 3 Pro
