Today I got MIUI 12.5 on the global version
There's not a lot of changes kind of disappointing
I'm thinking of a smooth custom rom with good battery life
But I really miss miui themes it's awesome especially the ios style

i was looking to change my note 7, but after i saw the notebookcheck pictures in the review i came to the conclusion that a midrange lvl today have not better camera than the note 7, i mean the night pic was absolutely better than a mi11 lite or note 10 pro...

Does anyone have the same problem or atleast know a solution to a data connection having problem..It says 4g but whenever it blinks to 4g to 4g+ my data reconnects or worse no data..it blinks rapidly in the notification bar and the connection interruption occur..pls help..is it on my phone only or in miui?..cuz i tested many solutions and troubleshooting even factory reseting..i hope this doesn't happen again if I change my phone to an another xiaomi brand like poco

Recently Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 10 series smartphones running Android 11 with MIUI 12 skin on top. While most of the Redmi Note series smartphones are yet to receive Android 11, it is almost confirmed that Redmi Note 7 series smartphones, launched in Feb 2019, will not be getting the Android 11 update officially.

Anonymous, 11 May 2021does anyone know will be android 11 on this phone The MIUI 12-based build of Android 11 for the POCO X3 NFC is tagged with software version V12.0.6.0.RJGEUXM, which is meant for the European variant only. Of course, the highlight of this release is Android 11, but the new build also has some smaller improvements like bringing in an updated kernel and a new version of the stock launcher app.
Keep in mind that this Android 11 build for the POCO X3 NFC is still considered as “stable-beta”. Stable-beta updates are only intended for users enrolled within the Mi Pilot beta testing program, meaning that builds assigned to this group will not install on devices with Mi Accounts that do not have the requisite permission. Once the Mi Pilot beta testers give positive feedback, the same build will then make an appearance through the official OTA.

If that Samsung phone matches these criteria, please buy. Don't ask anybody. This is my honest recommendation. Look for these features on Internet before buying. You will never regret about your purchase. Thanks

Anonymous, 28 May 2021I used this phone for 6month it is the worst phone i have e... more2 things, you're lying or you had a very bad luck, this is one of the best mid range ever existed, 2 years and counting, not a problem, battery still very good, not anymore 40% at night but 25% easily, fell many times, never broken,nowdays its still a beast.

Battery was ver... moreLots of complaints about this and that but did you guys update everything that needs to be updated while using the phone. I realised that updates stops and corrects lots of issues like the camera. The Redmi note 7 is a beast. 2yrs and only 2 sudden shutdowns corrected after an update to MIUI12. NEVER USED A SCREEN GUARD AND ITS STILL HSA NO strach on it, battery life still excellent, charger still great, dropped the phone about 8 times and no issue. Funny thing the battery last longer while using WiFi.

I'm very much fine with mine.
And recently (past week) I used Xiaomi adb fastboost tool to remove the bloatware...and in the process changed the resolution from 1080x2340 to 720x1560 and it looks fine (notification icon are a bit messed up by the notch but it's fine with me cuz I heavily restrict my notifications)...
And I didn't do cuz if performance issues...I just wanted to a bit more screen-on time...and for my phone to run cooler and last significantly longer while playing games (not saying it's running hot during that, infact it's very comfortable and runs fairly cool...but I want it to run even cooler, just my thing).
