I saw somewhere that the 48mp camera's real output is converted to 12mp.
Can someone explain this?

Eddie depay, 19 Mar 2019Should i buy this or pocophone If you're into performance, go straight to Poco>>> no other brands/phone cant beat this as to value of money with flagship soc as of this time. If you want well rounded phone, nice camera, new design, blaster, decent new SOC then buy the redmi note 7 pro. Both of these phone give more value of money than other brands do.

Camera is just fine. It hangs. Nothing special. Battery last for one day after full charge.

Eddie depay, 19 Mar 2019Should i buy this or pocophone To me, go for Poco F1 over Note7 Pro unless you are in a tight budget. There is no phone with the top-notch, very capable SD845 chipset under 300 bucks. SD675 is also a very good chipset but it may get not enough after a very long time. The Poco should be a future-proof device. On the camera department, these two should be very close on photos. Note7 Pro has a brighter aperture than Poco (f1.8 vs f.2.0) but aperture itself doesn't dramatically improve camera quality. In my opinion, 48MP sensor of the Note7 devices are exaggerated. The 48MP sensor has only 0.8qm pixels which is equal to a 12MP sensor with 1.6qm pixels with pixel binning technology. In short, the 48MP sensor of Note7 Pro is equal to a 12MP sensor with big pixels. But, Poco is slightly better for videos as it can capture 4K videos at 60fps and capture slow-motion videos. Poco has a night mode, too. Neither of these phones have OIS, though. Both of these phones have 1080p IPS panels. So, the display quality of these two should be identical, too. Note7 Pro has a more atttactive glass back design. However, Note7 may be less durable as it has a plastic (?) side frame. Both of these phones won't disappoint you on battery endurance as both of these devices have 4000mah batteries and 10nm chipsets.
