any difference in camera /hardware or software/
between redmi note 7 - global version 48MP vs PRO version?
can redmi note 7 - global version 48MP take identical shots as the PRO ?
or is it somehow limited to 12MP by interpolation/software?
I'd like to get normal version but this is decisive for me.
Is it worth waiting for PRO and paying a bit more?
Standard version is going to be released tomorrow in my country,
PRO I guess within a month or even later.

Some good news:
48MP dual camera indicates that the sensor in camera's primary lens is capable of producing images with a total of 48 megapixels. The camera is capable of taking both 48MP and 12MP photos. Some previews may only be able to display photos in 12MP. Pro mode is immediately capable of supporting 48MP, while support for Photo mode WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE later via OTA update.
1.6μm large pixels (4-in-1 Super Pixel) indicates that the camera's sensor hardware can combine 4 pixels into a single 1.6μm large pixel.
Protection from DUST and DIRT refers to protection from everyday particles and splashes. The smartphone is protected from small splashes and typical dirt and dust, but is not designed to withstand immersion or to operate in environments with severe dust, sand, or other particles. Redmi Note 7 Pro has NOT undergone waterproof testing or dustproof testing and its warranty does not cover damage resulting from dust, immersion in water, or dropping. Please do not immerse the smartphone in any liquid or bring it into an environment with severe dust or sand. Moreover, everyday dust and moisture can wear down the protection over time. Please do not charge your smartphone in a moist environment.
AI studio lighting and Photo Mode will be available via OTA update.

To conclude, The RN7P has a 48MP shooter which is as of now available in PRO mode. They are planning to get it in normal mode via OTA updates. Same goes for AI Studio lighting and Photo Mode.
Dust & dirt RESISTANCE is there. which none of the reviewers mentioned. Its good.
All in all, It is may be the best or one of the best in its price range. It will never be good enough to beat OP6/OP6t or iPhone. But it WILL give a good competition.

Redmi Note 7 Pro Cons - Heating issues phone may heatup upto 41°C ,Camera -No EIS support for 4K recording, Camera capture very good picture but in 12 mp at 48 mp camera lags and freeze for 25-27sec so 48 mp camera is a geemik and will not perform in actual world of performance,Selfie camera above average lacks in details and sharpness.Memory type it support only EMC type no UFS 2.1 not even UFS 2.0,It support white wine L1 licence but not Play Netflix contant in Full HD resolution.
