Overall a great phone... But it has its issues... First of all one can barely feel it has 4 GB of ram because of the poor memory management.. It can hardly keep 2 apps in the background also it hangs a lot like a 2 gb handset. The camera is ok and for day to day tasks it's a great handset buy for a professional user who would rely on multitasking a lot.. this handset will fail miserably.

Last but not least.. ever since the miui 12 update the battery drains like crazy.. It was barely able to make it through the day before the update but now I have to charge like three times a day.

        My volume on receiving a call is very low even when its boosted to maximum. Doesnt open email just flushes and goes back to home screen. please advise

                My dad was gifted this phone boxed pack, and there is just no option anywhere to register or set fingerprint lock. The phone has no mention of fingerprint anywhere in it's settings. I tried to run the system's fingerprint registering app by installing Quickshortcutmaker, and that does show an option to register fingerprint but the app crashes when I try to register it. Also there is shit ton of Chinese bloatware apps. All the pre installed bloatware apps are in chinese with no visible option for english. Good phone tho otherwise. It's a perfect midranger.

                  This is a Good Mobile Phone. i used it morthen 1 year.

                    About 2 yrs since purchase:
                    Gps seems to become a lot messy ,not accurate at all.Misguides you to wrong places.Tried re-calibration,but it didn't help.
                    The screen brightness seems to be misplaced and too loud with the text becoming rather light especially after phone's exposure to sun.

                      The thing about this phone is sound.

                        Redmi note 7's side buttons flex seems kinda weak and low quality build coz my Volume button now doesn't work anymore 🤦🏼‍♂️😒 mine is just 1yr old.

                                  My redmi note 7 also used to lag a hard time that makes me want to throw it off a cliff, but just 3 days ago I finally tried to do a factory reset, and voila, things got much better..
                                  After reset you should preview which app you need or not, installing less apps also helps too..
                                  If you want to reset don't forget to create a back up and save it to your PC or memory card
