hello friend, and i can't say i'm today's generation because i'm already 55 years old and i'm from the very beginning with mobile technology, if you can remember first came the ''pagers'' and then the distant 90s started with mobile phones. My first phone was ''sony eriksson ga 318i'', and from then until today i can't remember how many phones i changed. Now for the present day, as I wrote this ''Redmi Note 8'' is a very nice phone especially (Moonlight White) that I bought for the new 2020 year for my wife, until recently it was good without flaws but it started to be very late with the message and until now it has received only one security update and since then other problems starts with wi-fi - and mobile data, have started because it does not switch automatically( despite the fact that it is automatic mode) and it has used up all the mobile data. I had an argument with a guy who presented these problems a long time ago and I didn't believe him, but now they have come to me. Otherwise I am personally happy with my ''Honor 8x'' for which you can read all my blogs because people are grateful to me for the suggestion and I have been using it for 2 years and you need to dig there for a long time to find a bad comment, (that does not exist) for ''Honor 8x'' because it has great Huawei support , which is not the case with Xiaomi. The phone is nice and good, but it also has shortcomings that I expect to be resolved with the update, but it not arrives and I'm still waiting for to receive.{ a question from my wife; if you know how to check mobile data usage, thanx}

But no. You seems not happy either if not you wont be here.
You know what's the problem with today's generation? They want everything easily...but yet they cant even handle it properly. Yawn

There are tons of RN8 ... moreI don't need curves, my Honor 8x is updated regularly without effort and from android 8 ,,,, it came to android 10 and every month it gets a security patch update, it's a pity for this beautiful seemingly redmi note 8 which is forgotten by the product, something like long ago alcatel phones

Anyway andoidb11 is out for RN8 today... hesitate to install as i am doing fine with the current software

And oh boy, is this ever worse. Sluggish, bloated and broken phone by Xiaomi. Auto-brightness doesn't work, you have to disable battery management for every app to get notifications, the display has no colour range, and even though it has a headphone jack, the sound quality of it is absolute trash.
Updates? What are those? Never heard of it.
