I don't understand why you explain to me, I have no problems with ads, my phone is without such problems even after 4 months, and ads probably (can)come from applications that contain ads and those are with the game and no problems with notification for all applications and besides that the battery is in power saving mode most of the time and I agree that the phone is great.

I have used note 8 for 3 months now. Overall it's a good phone. Great battery life. You can use it for a day by one battery cycle.( I don't play much games though).
But sometimes playing games causes some heat. But only with high performance games playing for a long time.
Also I didn't get an 18W charger with the phone even though the phone supports it. Only got a 10W. But only a few minutes difference between their charging times so my advice is don't bother buying an 18W.
Good performance, as I said I don't play much games, so gamers, do some research. But with the heating not very suitable for gaming.
LCD display is good. Great details.
No earphones come with it.
Miui interface is not bad also not great. And I didn't get bothersome ads by miui, just a few notifications from time to time.
So if you're looking for a budget phone for a decent performance go for a Redmi note 8. Good luck 👍

Not a single problem,
Ads can be totally turned off
Display quality is v v good
Sound is extra ordinary
Features are more then other fones in this price range
Only one things lack is built in call recording
Otherwise not a single issue to point out after 1 month use

Dont buy this redmi note 8....
I have purchased redmi note 8 mobile 7-8 days before but its really irritating me, because of its ads and notifications, when I try to disable these ads or notifications after some time its automatically reappears... U can't feel good after purchase such mobile, and now I want to sell this mobile...

I bought this phone 3 days back and it's a complete waste of money! First there was a WiFi issue. It refuses to connect to any network. Then it had the dialler issue. I couldn't receive any call. Fixed the later issue somehow but the WiFi issue after three days has started again. It's not connecting whatsoever. Useless and waste of money. I'm regretting trying this smart phone brand. What to do if I can't even connect to WiFi. The only application I have installed is WhatsApp now. Removed everything else. And using WhatsApp on data package
