Xiaomi exploits Pakistani people too much. They're setting huge profit margins for themselves.
Redmi Note 7 used to cost 35,000. But they suddenly dropped its price to 27,000 when Realme 3 was launched for 23,000 and no one wanted to buy it.
Then they introduced RN8 for 28,000 but when its popularity increased, they raised its price to 32,000.
What kind of marketing strategy is this???

lol I used to recommend this phone but Xiaomi increased its price from 28,000 to 32,000 in Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Realme 5 Pro with 128GB price decreased to 33,000. It's better than note 8 pro in every way (more powerful, battery efficient, features, faster charging).
If you live in Pakistan, only good Xiaomi phone you can buy is Pocofone f1 for 52,000. But only for gaming.

I Have Redmi Note 8 4Gb Ram/64Gb Rom, it not bad phone, but i have a battery and heating problem. I just open shopping online app for 1 hour, it become hot. And battery drain so fast, i have to charge twice a day. Please solve this problem issue to Xiaomi Group.

So, I need a phone under USD 140. I'm currently looking at the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 (This phone), the Realme 5s and the Samsung Galaxy A20e.
They all have great specs, (as far as i know).
I just need a phone with great performance speeds and a decent 1080p camera (at minimum).

I bought this phone 5 months ago, what i can say is my previous phone which is redmi 5 plus is more reliable than this one. Unstable network connection, slow audio and easily heating up makes me regretting buy this redmi note 8. Thumbs down, currently survey for new one.

i thought you deleted your comments but here it is, i'm honestly sorry for you but don't lose hope it might be a solution, as i know that WiFi and BT work on the same 2.4 GHz frequencies and interrupt each other, but we should be able to fix this issue by changing to uses other Wi-Fi channel, Bluetooth may be still makes WiFi slower, but if is there good enough for use, then is ok, in truth my phone works without any problems and i hope it stays that way but i note i changed the wifi channel a long time ago and chose the one which was free.

Just flashed bliss rom android 10 on this...wow,very smooth & battery life is way better than the stock rom ...love me aosp roms

I appreciate it but I'm done with this phone now. It's basically going to the trash since notifications don't work and the developers seem to have died from the ccp virus.
If it works for you, glad it does. But for me it just doesn't :(.
