D... moreHa ha. A quick search on your prefered engine will reveal just how widespread these issues are. I got them after a month of use, and the apps stayed the same. Auto brightness doesn't learn preferences. MIUI has fixed brightness levels depending on lighting, that's why it often resets it to the default values.
If you really care to help then please download Google Notes and set a reminder. You have to set the notification preference to 'high'. Then close all apps and lock your phone. It should play your notification sound but it doesn't. I have tested this on a Galaxy S8 and I didn't even had to dig in the notifications settings.

No delays either?= No
Auto-brightness not too dim in bright light? Not too bright in low light? = No, it works smoothly.
But if you have such problems,then it can be some application or game that you have installed on your phone that uses those sensors-
(that you had to give permission to use)
and compromises their operation. So far for me everything is perfect so charming.

I recently bought a redmi note 8 and I have noticed the display is yellowish compared to the snow white on redmi note 4
This is really distracting, is there a fix for this.
I have tried the usual color scheme changes to cool but the difference is still glaring
Is this a hardware or software issue

all the bad comments about this phone are from those who have issues with their mobile operators, this phone is great in every way, and it looks like a 1000 eur device,I'm happy I bought it, and I think it's better not to believe all those bad comments , they are false

i read very bad comments here and almost change my mind not to buy this phone,
but when i went to the phone store and when i saw it live the story seemed to change,
the seller convinced me that if the product did not meet my needs i could within 15 days to return the product and the money will be returned to me.
But now i can say i am very pleased and especially for those who are keen on wifi connection i advise you to contact your internet provider for the speed and quality of their service,cos i am connected to fiber optic 60mbps \ upload and 60mbps / download on 2.4GHz and it download - viber app 38MB -for only 3 sec ( 13mbps ) i'm very pleased and happy.
