Considering to buy Redmi 8 because
- good memory 64/8gb
- good battery 5000mah
- fast charging
- 13mp f/1.8 camera
- pie os
It will serve me well as i am not a gamer.
Today i compared it with redmi note 8 which is 8000 rupees expensive. What i will gain is lower battery 4000mah but better camera 48mp and better chipset.
Now i am confused between these two which one to go for. If i get better reliablity by paying 8000 rupees i will go for note otherwise redmi 8 is good for me.
What do you suggest?

Anonymous, 24 Feb 2020Thank you for your answer.... well battery life and design ... moreBattery life is great. The UI is mostly smooth (except the recent apps menu) but restrictive. Their "security" feature is deleting apk's unless you revoke it's rights. Auto brightness doesn't learn and doesn't let you adjust brightness by small steps. WhatsApp messages are mostly silent for some reason.
If you don't care about the wide angle and macro lens, you can flash a custom ROM like Pixel Experience (not full camera support). I'm fed up with MIUI and waiting for my bootloader to be unlocked. Takes 7 fkn days....

and I can't ask for agaming processor or an iphone-like camera in this price segment
I want good phone that don't show much trouble while using or die within short time (sudden death, processor deterioration....)
I've been a samsung user and I want to know about xiaomi from users : do there phones become worse with time? Do they show alot of stutters in usage? Any prominent problem like signal weakness, bad call quality, fail in some games and navigatuon or anything unexpected?
I'm confused between m30s and mi note 8. Thank you in advance

My WhatsApp notifications are more and more coming in silent. I'm pretty sure it's the usual nonsense of MIUI once again...They should just completely drop UI development ffs.

Anonymous, 23 Feb 2020This or m30s? I a need long life span phone that can live f... moreGood question, before I bought this phone, I was a Samsung M30s user, only for 3 months, and had a very bad experience using the M30s. Samsung m30s doesn't support fast 18 watts charging, so it takes a long time to fully charge, and remember 6000 mAh without charging 18 watts is a long time to wait, the Samsung m30s also has bad material for the back cover, it's made of plastic and very fast to be moldy. So I recommend you to use the Redmi Note 8, around 4000 mAh is enough for everyday use.

This phone is very durable, the front and back of this phone made from glass material and i love it, look so luxury. The performance of this phone is amazing, absolutely fast.

I am going to buy this phone. What i wanna know is the main difference between the 64gb and 128gb. Will the smaller storage make this phone lag? I will be installing a lot of important social media apps (no gaming apps). I am getting a gr8 deal if i buy the 128gb as i am also receiving an additional 64gb memory storage card. But i don't think i need that extra storage. The 64gb one is very cheap. What are the main differences?
