So, first thing first, this Phone is a good buy, unless you are a Gaming Maniac. Nearly everything on this Phone is good, apart from 2 things:
(1.) When someone calls you (whether you have his/her Number in your Contacts or NOT), ONLY a Small Dialogue-Window appears on the Screen. Having a nice 6.3" FHD Screen, and NOT having a Full-Screen Notification Dialogue displayed, when someone calls you, it's just lame.... AND...
(2.) There is an UNpleasant Surprise with this Phone: While it has Hardware BlueTooth v5.0 Chip installed, it ONLY operates as being a BT v4.2, due to FirmWare imperfection, which is SSSOOO utterly LAME!!!
The GOOD news, however, are that BOTH points (1.) and (2.) described above, can easily be fixed with an OTA FirmWare Upgrade by Xiaomi! ;-) Please dear Xiaomi, fix these 2 Issues facing Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Global (Stock ROM) !!!

If you're using snapchat, pictures are yellowish or orangey in low light. Snapchat's camera already has low quality, with rn8's camera it made the pictures quality sucks even more, in whatever lighting. I regret buying this. (Not here to argue, just thought I would share)

Anyway, I get a max of 10h screen on time and 3 days of battery life in total. A bit of GPS navigation was also involved. I don't play games on phones so I don't know how long it lasts with that.

I confused why other social media record voice is okay, but normal call record against the law. Call recording is useful when you deal someone who always tells a lie or not acknowledge what's he/she talk in a call.

Rn8 camera with gcam is better than iphone 11pro max 😅
Compare videos are on youtube i also compared them in real rn8 was much better😅

If your lufe depends on it than change your region. Don't know wether or not they have removed it entirely from their own apps aswell.

Excited to upgrade phone from redmi4x to RN8. But after buy.. It let me down because there is no call recording... Did xiaomi have stop producing phone with this feature... Anyone know what newer android phone that's have auto call recording feature?

Those people who say that it can't play pubg they are lying i bought xiomi redmi note 8 64gb version and it plays pubg and fortnite without lag. Its a brilliant fone but camera Quality is not very impressive it is average other than that great fone
