Years ago htc also said we ensure that mediatek phones like one e9+ and desire 10pro and e9 and other phones with mediatek will get android update but after sometimes that new android version released we saw that non of them dont get even one android update and htc support said mediatek company dont give necessary codecs to us for update

The 7 plus is older at this point. It depends what system you like more and what you do with your phone. It costs more than the Note 8 aswell doesn't it?
So if your budget is more than the price of the Redmi Note 8 I would look at something else. You can use the Phone Finder tool on the site to filter by preferences.

Switched from a Galaxy A50 due to terrible fingerprint sensor and lack of proper updates.
The earpiece is larger and the bottom speaker is way louder and clearer.
The camera(s) are also better (48mp mode, good sharpness).
The fingerprint sensor just works as it should, unlike the one in the A50.
The sim card tray is metal and has a gasket on. A50 doesn't even have that...
The build quality is absolutely flawless as always with Xiaomi. Way better than the A50, and I'm not even talking about the glossy and quickly scratched up plastic.
The display is pretty nice for an LCD and with the contrast at standard (third profile) is the most accurate. It's no OLED but has a really good contrast ratio for an LCD.
Battery life is also amazing. Looks like I will get 9-10 hours screen-on-time. The A50 was only getting 6-7 hours for me.
On top of all of that MIUI 11 is better organized than MIUI 10. With a nice launcher it gets even better.
The Note 8 is a bit thicker and heavier than the A50 because of the LCD and the glass back.
If you don't need UFS Storage or OLED but want better cameras, an actually working fingerprint sensor, a loud and clear speaker and a well built solid phone, than I definitely recommend the Redmi Note 8 over the Galaxy A50, especially for the lower price.

The reason is, 960fps requires a dedicated DRAM - adding which would make these budget/midrange phones much more costly.
So they just record 240fps and then slow down the video by 4 times, to make it look as slow as a 960fps video.
