Jonatec, 15 Mar 2020Q. How durable is the Gorilla glass back? Can it be used wi... moreThe gorilla glass doesn't matter. Glass is glass and glass breaks. I have been using it with a case and I dropped it like 2 or 3 times and everything's fine. It depends how you drop it, from what height you drop it and on what you drop it.

Q. How durable is the Gorilla glass back? Can it be used without a case as it has a glass back?
I had a Huawei with a glass back and it cracked and I wasn't even dropped.

Hey guys I just saw a review about another phone but the reviewer said that there is shadowing around the edges because of the IPS LCD screen, because this type of screen is illuminated from behind. So these shadows are completely normal. I do not know how big your shadowing is and I am not claiming that all the shadows are normal. Maybe there are some devices which yeah were not build perfectly or got dropped or something and then the shadowing appeared. You can still get it to your warranty service but I would not really recommend this. It depends on your country but for example in my country, Romania, this is kinda useless... Last year I got my Huawei P20 Lite's battery replaced because it only lasted like 2-3 hours or so and after I waiting like 2 weeks and I used a shitty phone guess what. The battery got replaced but it was even worse.

JamesWeebs, 15 Mar 2020Well so, no significant upgrade on chipset between rn8p and rn9pI would figure, considering now i think both RN8P and RN9P will be staying in the midrange list of phones because of their chipset and specs

Joeking, 14 Mar 2020Am thinking of buying the RN8P since realme X2 and Poco X2 ... moreI have RN8P since December and can only recommend it. Great performance (I become fan of Mediatek) awesome battery and high end design. Looking on RN9P is only small upgrade over RN8P, bigger battery, similiar performance and photo expirience, same screen. I think it goes to the design - I prefer RN8P notch over ugly 'hole on the screen' (totally personal opinion) and I'm not a fan of rectangular photo island. I will not upgrade and wait for RN10P hehe.

Joeking, 14 Mar 2020Am thinking of buying the RN8P since realme X2 and Poco X2 ... moreI think I already posted below about which to choose but it seems like you are asking for gaming this time
Idk what the battery Endurance will be the RN9P tbf but the RN8P has an outstanding battery life so it should be a good choice if you are planning to play mobile games for a long time.
Now talking about Performance, The RN8P is still outstanding but im not sure what is different between the Snapdragon 750G and the Mediatek Helio G90T as i never owned a Snapdragon phone but I'll leave that to someone who experienced it to see if there is a difference.
I think overall, both phones should be outstanding but I would wait for more information about the RN9P then consider which I should buy.
