Baba Michael Jackson, 11 Mar 2020Guys i want to buy this phone just for gaming can anyone te... moreI have tried playing pubgm for 6 hours at smooth extreme (non stop match) with bluetooth connected to mi band 4 and it still have 30-40% (I don't exactly remember how much) and the heat at average heat (under 41°c i think). just for information, connection and temperature where you play is take effect on battery drain.

Dragoon Shimizu, 11 Mar 2020Does anyone know if I can auto record calls with Redmi Note... moreYou can't do that with the normal global version because it has the Google phone dialer which hasn't got a call recording function so you either use third party apps or either install another global rom because there are 3 global roms and one of these has the Mi dialer app pre-installed. Or just install an app for the Mi dialer app. (wouldn't recommend that because of security reasons etc.)

It doesn't have any wifi problem and Xiaomi advertises that it has WiFi X (as someone said earlier) which will maintain a good WiFi connect even when you are holding your phone landscape and gaming. (Normally when you are gsming you kind of block a lot of the phone corners etc and the WiFi signal should be worse)

After i look at Mi Community, the redmi note 8 pro series have 3 global stable ROM, not like the old redmi note phone. So, if you wanted to record call just use 3rdpartyapp or change ROM to global Indonesia Ver, but you must wait global indonesia ROM update to android 10 if you have updated yours to android 10

I don't know i have different ROM because I bought this phone from Mi Store. Maybe Indonesia/SEA ROM have different global ROM.

Ok I get it, you could grab an apk but I wouldn't recommend that move but again the phone doesn't come with call recording if you actually buy it (Global)

The ultra wide camera is an okay one. It could be better but in daylight condition and maybe some editing it looks more than good. I got some cool shots with it. The main one almost mind blowing. I just hate the OIS.. I love it on 1080p30 but on 1080p60 or higher is like inexistable. I upgraded from a Huawei P20 Lite so this phone is like GOD tier level for me xD.

Cameras are decent, main I would even call good one. Nice, sharp photos.
Screen - best lcd I have used so far in smartphones, bright and great colors.
