I'm not really sure what's going on with the bad video quality playback on any streaming app but it looks absolutely fine to me, been using this phone for over 2 months now and never experienced such a thing, also playing 720p video on VLC is fine as well.

    it doesnt have shared memory card slot but it has dedicated memory card slot. so 2 sim and memory card all 3 work a t a time

      Next thing 4g LTE works but you need more bands lot of these late model devices are missing alot of bands that other brands got making there device more reliable great phones but needs a little tweaking

          Video quality is very poor... With ugly face.. Any solution to fix this issue..

            Bought the 128gb 6gb variant last year December 17th and been enjoying it ever since awesome device can't complain handles everything I do like a charm might be the only one with it in my country and that's great because it stands out try it out you might like it waiting on the next Note Pro series to be launch can't wait

                    Can somebody run sonyliv app in highest video quality settings and tell me it's fantastic because I don't find so.

                      I wanted to get the Xiaomi rn8p but it's a bit pricey for me. Aliexpress have fair prices but it's for the Chinese rom ones not the global version at about $250 plus shipping fees. I'm looking for a phone with great picture quality a lil more like the iPhone or better and good processor it would be great if any one can point out a good alternative that's not too pricey

                                  i hope redmi will move on to 6000-6500 mAh battery for all of its product. we deserve a *solid* 2 day or more battery life. i hoped i could endure it a little and buy samsung M30s instead of redmi note 8. the 6000mAh will solve some of worlds problem

I mean slightly be... moreYou know, it's not all screen resolution, it could also be the upscaling algorithm from 720p to 1080p that is not great, it's a harder algorithm than 1080p to 4K where it's very easy as 4K is exactly 4 1080p screens.
