Excellent phone, very good value for money, I bought it a week ago and I was surprised by its performance, battery and camera, which works fine with decent light but its a little weak at night but I guess its normal for the price im paying.
It was updated to MIUI 11 without problems.
100% recommended!

I found out that something with the audio setting messed up, it's not cause the audio cable, I changed few different one, even completely new.
Open settings -> Sound & vibration -> all the way at the end -> Earphones - check what kind of settings are active for Equalizer and I think the most important is "Mi Sound Enhance". Try different options of headphones/earphones. I used to use the option - "Mi Headphones" and I was having that "pause" problem, then changed it to "Mi Earbuds" and right now it's fine.
Maybe it happens some kind of overexposure of the sound signal and the phones is pausing the audio signal to prevent ear damage, or maybe it's just a bug, just guessing

Really love this redmi version
But, don't really into the back body frame design, actually, they just selling the blue ocean version :' it's really pretty cool seriously
Didn't buy it, cuz I want, maybe I need, dual sim tho :D

Yesterday I bought it. It's a good mobile in terms of price good camera good performance. I didn't find call recording feature like redmi other models. Please can anybody confirm me is it this feature available in this mobile?

With Bluetooth on, the RN8P reaches maximum download and upload speeds over wifi overhere. It may be wiser to troubleshoot your problems, instead of flaming online.

WIFI Connection is complete trash... I am averaging 2.0KB/s uploading pics to google drive. Online gaming is terrible with such terrible speeds. My Internet account from provider is 100/100MB my wifi router is rated to 300MB.. so no bottleneck there. Sitting in the same room as router and I get 2.0KB/s !?! Casual shooter game - still downloading images of guns 5 minutes into game. Was told to turn off bluetooth - minimal help on speed. So I cant connect to a bluetooth speaker unless I want constant buffering. This phone is trash, dont believe the hype!
