Atit, 09 Dec 2019When will we get MIUI 11 update on RN8 Pro of indian version?I heard Indian will have the MIUI a bit in late but straight to 11.0.2.0, lucky U, since the 11.0.1.0 have battery drain issue from network connection (even when idle). Better stay with MIUI 10 until the fixed arrived.

Anonymous, 09 Dec 2019Pls is it true that redmi note 8 pro has heating issues esp... moreI'm using the Redmi Note 8 Pro for over a month now and haven't noticed any heating issues whatsoever. It warms up like any other phone with any other SoC in it.
When I compare it with the SD810 that sat inside my LG G Flex 2, it is a good gaming SoC on that department. Makes me wonder why everybody is hammering on Mediatek SoCs and not on Qualcomm. In any case, one can buy the RN8P without a problem, on the SoC department.
Meanwhile have been using the phone with MIUI 11 for several weeks now and haven't noticed any strange battery drain. The phone can remain on standby as easily as my Mi Max 2 could with both MIUI 10 and 11.
