Dave, 29 Nov 2019Can anyone help me? I'm thinking about buying a Xiaomi Redm... moreI have bought it for a month now and it was great. It was smooth during daily usage especially
after updating it to miui 11. Playing games are also smooth although if you play for more than 1 to 2 hours and turn the graphics for too high, it does heat up quite a bit, but it was acceptable apart from thermal throttling.

Ivana80, 26 Nov 2019Hi everyone, I need your advice on Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 P... moreBetter go for mi9 lite or cc9. Note 8 Pro is for gamers. AMOLED display consumes less battery compared to IPS. Also display is also gorgeous. Mi9 Lite is not as heavy as Note 8 Pro. Both Sd 710 and g90t are good processors. But if you are not a gamer, you should not miss the amoled.

Dave, 29 Nov 2019Can anyone help me? I'm thinking about buying a Xiaomi Redm... moreThe phone heats up as much as any other phone, cause of its battery its pretty solid for gaming, of course some phone like asus rog is better for gaming sessions but its much pricier for it, so no the phone does not have like a very bad heating issue for when you play games.

Can anyone help me? I'm thinking about buying a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, 128 GB variant. Is this reliable, durable, and secured? I'm a gamer, I usually play Mobile Legends and have heard this phone heats up, can anyone who uses this phone confirm? I have also heard that Xiaomi phones don't last long for more than 2 years. I have also read somewhere that MIUI makes this phone laggy, does it not?

I just received my Redmi note 8 pro. I used it most of the time for gaming. Ive been using it for 1 week now. So far I do not encounter any heating issue. It will only get warm just a little while I'm playing which is very normal for any kind of smartphone. It will not get to the point that its too hot to touch. The warmth is very very mild. I've been playing Call of Duty or PUBG at max settings. This is continously 1-2 hours sometimes. It's just very sad that it doesn't support High frame rate mode for mobile legends. The battery life is superb. Performance wise it's a beast especially for it's price. Camera is just okay.

Battery: It's been more than a week and I charged only twice.
Fingerprint sensor: my hands are sweaty but it's working well. I suggest you to setup the finger you use most to unlock the phone for 2-3 different positions and to different fingerprint settings.
Camera: During the daylight it's great. At night it's also ok. I'd suggest to use the pro mode and explore new things.
Size: it's kinda big but it fits in your pocket.

irhut, 27 Nov 2019I think your phone is faulty. I do not have this issue whe... moreThe phone does not heat up like an oven, it goes up to around 42 degrees celcius when playing games on high graphics for long periods of time. My old phone goes to 47 degrees celcius when I play games at low graphics(P8 lite 2017). It has a great camera and great processor. The only problem is emulators, some emulators aren't fully designed for mediatec processors like Citra and that is why it does not emulate properly. It runs dolphin very well at 1x and 2x resolution but laggy on 3x. It's antutu benchmark is at 280k which is better then 92% of other smartphones .Great flagship killer. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cheaper alternative for a gaming smartphone.

Ivana80, 26 Nov 2019Hi everyone,
I need your advice on Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 P... moreYes Ihave it for 3 weeks. Is super fast. The camera is verygoodon light conditions. The colors are a little cold for my Taste. Comming from Samsung Note seies.
On low light...dark camera is not high end but but what you want for a 200$ phone. Can't compete with 600$ models.
Otherwise is very good. Also is not amoled screen, but really can't see the difference only when you compare side by side.
It's a good phone, for 200$ is a best buy, but also it has room from improvement
