It is clear Xiaomi is not making ANY profit from this model, they are just making name for themselves, and that is what they do.
Phone is premium quality, premium specs, great hardware, great phone.
Like iPhone 11 but with low price tag.

Kk, 19 Nov 2019Guyz how about the durability want to buy it but afradi it ... moreEveryone said that MIUI 10 has good battery endurance, but after updated to MIUI 11.0.1 it become worse. Better to wait for another update. In generic this phone has superb battery endurance.
For the chipset quality, its fast and smooth, noticably better than Realme XT, the chipset should not broken for another 5yrs or so. Well, MTK also being used in many devices like TVs, routers.

To all the Respected & Honorable users of Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro. This question is for people who have updated their phone to MIUI 11.
• How is MIUI 11 on this phone compared to MIUI 10 in your opinion.
• What is the status of Android 10 for this device..when will it be receiving the major update.

here is some of what i found after a week of usage:
the phone is fast, i had no lags, i'm not a gamer so i didn't try that aspect, cameras are nice, specially the main and the selfie cameras, the ultra wide is handy but not for bragging photos, the micro camera is not that good.
any way i found some issues that i hope to be solved within updates, such as the proximity sensor that some times gives a false signal that the screen is covered, i noticed that there are some notifications in the shed that disappears when you take it down, of course all issues are fixed when you reboot the phone, but it appear again after a day or tow.
i'm updating the phone while writing this post to MIUI 11, i hope that will solve the problems and not start other problems...

• has... moreWhat is the issue with the screen when watching movies? They look great to me. Of course they will not be playing in hd on nerflix, but if you watch in hd or uhd video on YouTube it looks great.
Perhaps I am missing something?
