mo, 28 Sep 2019First time Xiaomi buyer here, I've just ordered a Xiaomi Mi... moreif you mean you take it under the shower, no you cant take any xiaomi phones but for rainy waters there are some solution. for example i bought a pocophone and i use a ringke case on it. you can buy any xiaomi phones and then buy a case for it so you can use it in rainy days or even at bathroom but yet again you cant take them under the shower

First time Xiaomi buyer here, I've just ordered a Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite after doing loads of research but now I'm considering canceling my order and swapping out for a Xiaomi Note 8 Pro because I've just realised it has splash proof coating, rubber seals and reinforced corners.
I'm stuck as what to do, I feel like having a splash proof phone is important for me, I watched a video of a guy literally giving it a bath and didn't see any damage. I often tend to get my phone wet, I live in England it rains a lot here and I like to change my music with mid way through the shower.
I'm not too bothered about the over heating issues with the Note 8 Pro right now because I won't be using it do things like play PUBG on ultra high settings.
Do I sacrifice the Mi 9 Lite's Super Amoled display, better camera, and nicer design for the bigger battery and waterproof features on the 8 Pro?
Any input massively appreciated

sd 855 have 700hmz

by the email from xiaomi Europe support i get some days ago the global version dont gonna have sound jack 3.5 and no amoled so for me i gonna start to used OPPO phone in the near future and why you the rest around the world dont should used Huewei or honor its for they used back door in they phones processor..

Mtk GPUs aren't capable enough like adrenos. It's like intel vs AMD. While AMD has higher clock speed and everything but it's not as consistent as intel.

The reason is simple : mt6752 can run a single core alone (even the older mt6592 was able too), when SD615 makes them run 4 by 4...the same for 616 and 617.
Mediatek's Corepilot was far better than Qualcomm's core management.
Even GPU was a little better on mt6752.
Mt6732's GPU totally destroy SD410's old Adreno 3 and with 4 cores is as fast as SD615 with 8!
About modem, of course, not most but all smartphones use Qualcomm patents...because it's standard essentiel patents (CDMA and LTE for exemple), no choice, manufacturers have to pay...that's the problem : bad regulation of fees...fees too high, manufacturers forced to pay, rebates on soc...nvidia's, intel's, Texas instruments, broadcom's, St-microelectronics, Via's smartphones soc's death...
And without licence agreement, LG never release their soc (Nuclun, Nuclun 2), see district of California's décision (FTC vs Qualcomm)
Nevertheless, there's a huge difference between theorical bandwidth and real use...
My Oppo A3 with Helio P60 (LTE cat 7), gets most time better LTE speed (real mesures) than a Xiaomi Mi A2 with SD660 (LTE cat 12)
You've got even some brands who cut antennas costs.
For exemple Nokia 7 Plus is only Cat 6 when his Snapdragon 660 is Cat 12...have you ever seen someone complain about internet speed on Nokia 7 Plus?
