SILA, 20 Jun 2020Between this phone and oppo reno 2z which do you recommend??If you really need an AMOLED screen go for the Oppo but I wouldn't really recommend it because the only difference that abetter that the Xiaomi is the screen, btw the Xiaomi phone has a very good screen, even brighter than AMOLEDs, and well... The pop-up camera wouldn't resist to any harsh weather, for example raining. So the Xiaomi, besides that it's IP52, is better in any way, despites having an IPS LCD screen.

Darkmind, 20 Jun 2020Does this phone heat more than 45 degrees at CPU and batter... morePlaying with a heavily warm phone can be annoying and may sweat your hands a little but I don't know of a single case of failure due to heating with this phone or heating that will make you drop the phone.

Now if you want something colder and not too expensive you can get a phone based on kirin 810 (few games have issues with it) or if you are willing to pay more get something based on the dimensity 820 or snapdragon 855 for example.

[deleted post]What are you talking about??

To me it's big and heavy but then the 210g crowd came around and then the 220g and inching towards a 7" screen.. at this point this phone is starting to look small and light by comparison, manufacturers simply can't help themselves.. sick of this trend that never seem to stop.

Is this phone better than Oppo Reno 2z?

The phone offers a laggy experience after Android 10 update?

Does this phone heat more than 45 degrees at CPU and battery? Heating too much will ruin your experience? How about games that not requires Wi-Fi connection? Will heat as well?

Between this phone and oppo reno 2z which do you recommend??

[deleted post]I already have it for a pretty long time and well...I don't really have reasons to don't recommend it. What are your reasons?

Anonymous, 19 Jun 2020Hardware video playing isn't good. it's like old lcd screen... moreIt's with MTK's Miravision which automatically adds "improvements" to videos. I have an MTK phone Tecno WX4 Pro and Jiayu S3+ both does the same even whatching Youtube but my Tecno is particular has an accessible "Miravision" setting which you can modify what features to disable but it seems that not all post-processing can be disabled.

It's nice to know tho, thanks for letting us know. (Disclaimer: Those who actually use that/understand that might encounter the same problem.)

Hardware video playing isn't good. it's like old lcd screens, sharpening video too much and ruin the experience. With mx player. u can test that. when playing a nice quality video switch to software decoder and video suddenly getting smoother. video graphic gpu settings are not wuite right imo. its not like big issue most of the people i guess but for me it's a bad new. really really bad news :/ HATE IT!

Great phone for the price range, no lago, great battery.

And no, im not a fanboy. O came from a Realme5!

The max temps are like 43-45 or so. As someone just said you could wait for something better but this is cheap and a very good option too!

xSavagex, 17 Jun 2020How good is this phone in gaming? What about overall usage?... moreWhat battery melting LOL, you could ask something like that in your right mind in the first week of release, not almost a year out.

You should avoid this phone because it's older tech by now, many people disliked the display specially viewing angles, it ran too warm if pushed hard, cameras got mixed reviews, the ads and other minor stuff, no deal breakers at all but better stuff is coming you don't want to miss out on. I would think of this phone if you were to get it really cheap, it still makes sense for a low budget gaming phone.

xSavagex, 17 Jun 2020How good is this phone in gaming? What about overall usage?... moreMate, I got this phone for over 6 months now and I played PUBG and a lot of other games for hours straight and no problems. It gets hot but not overheated and neither that hot that it could harm itself / melt the battery. That shouldn't even be legal to be sold tbh. It kind of a Samsung Galaxy Note 7 battery "surprise" *spoiler, the phone blew up*. I would suggest you to get the phone or wait for the Redmi Note 9 Pro or so. There won't be any difference in cameras, only slighter bigger display *maybe worse then this we can't know for sure for now*, a slighter bigger battery to cover the slightly bigger screen and well... Maybe software support for one more year. I think the performance will be the same or so not sure. This phone's performance is perfect to say so, for 220 euros you get, if not the best, one of the best mid rangers out there. You could call it even a very bad high end device. Today's standards went sky high but still, this is a very good phone.

Invoker , 17 Jun 2020can we play fortnite in this phone ?Yes, High Graphics and 30fps

How good is this phone in gaming? What about overall usage? I heard some rumors saying that temperature will rise until battery melting on this phone. I should buy it or avoid it?

Been using it since 14 June (Note 9 series release date iny country)
                                        - Camera = since i moving from a 4 yrs old Redmi Note 3 Pro. .it's been a huge upgrade (can't say further more since i change phone at least every 2 yrs and don't think much about camera as long as it's usable)

                                        - Performance = again, since i upgrading from Kenzo. .surpricingly a Huge different with this Helio G90T (playing Honkai Impact 3rd. .after post honkai far smoother)

                                        - Battery = in the first and 2nd day using it i hv gaming a lot. .by far a great battery life easily reach 6hrs Screen on Time everytime (full game)

                                        - Overall = since i was the person who prefer LG V30 design can't say i satisfied with today smartphone (notch, punch hole, etc). .this phone quiet heavy (from 170g to 200g), good screen great touch response, decent speaker "less loud then other competitor" but has good bass on it. .
