I don't really care about updates, except to fix the battery drain of network idle in which make my neck itchy. In case of Android 10, the only thing I'm waiting for is the separations of audio output, so we can still do a phone/WA call with earpiece while our Bluetooth speaker is playing music.

It is active in Android 10 and was a concept in Android 8 or 7. This is not difficult to understand and what do you care when others want updates. If you don't care about updates, leave other people be.

The Boy with Red Hat, 01 May 2020I speak of those that complaint to have any single update, ... more I have galaxy note 3 N9005, global version, I bought it brand new with software 5.0 lollipop,it is fine, it still works fine, in quality it is one of the best samsung phones, but itis an outdated phone of september 2013, I think people do not like to use it bcause of mainly software update stopping, but it still good using with no problem.

Everyone uses Chrome. Second of all, even if some random Chinese company could see every single thing I did on my phone I wouldn't care at all. And most other people shouldn't care at all. They aren't gonna be stealing your bank info and they aren't gonna be stealing your accounts. If they did end up doing that they'd be in deeper waters than just being caught looking at web browsing. We're talking legal issues and potential bankruptcy in the end. No big company would risk their reputation like that. I'm surprised you aren't complaining about Google or Facebook or Instagram or literally any other company that collects data. Google literally listens to your mic yet I don't see y'all that are complaining about Xiaomi complaining about that, when it's pretty much even worse.
Besides, if you care that much then install a ROM because you can't guarantee your security with any company.
Stop forcing your opinions on other people. Both phones have their pros and cons and that's end of story, acknowledging security or not.

Static IP gives it away. But yes, right now we are being flooded with Chinese brands that have questionable policies and they are required by Chinese law to provide data for the government. The same government that has discriminated against (or even worse) many minorities / people for decades. I don't want to go into detail because GSMArena seems not independent either.

Mainly people use phones for Social Media, Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter and so on works fine on Android 5.0, but, If some cant get the latest update feels like the phone is trash and feels betrayed hehehe
Redmi Note 8 Pro have Android 10 in many markets, but they feels like the phone is useless if they dont have that update

Adding to the frustration of holding the phone upright for extended periods of time.
Sometimes it would just blank out unexpectedly.
--- Weird I have mine since cames out and never experienced something like that, go for you Warranty maybe you got a Lemon.
This phone is just overhyped and frustrating to use
