No by using the default built in app.
Yes with any app having Camera2 API compatibility.
I've made a quick test with "Open Camera". The dng is ok in Camera Raw.

pros: great camera, including night, 48mpx available from app, holds 2 days heavy use without games BT on LTE on brightness high, fast, miui needs 1 day to get familiar, 256GB microsd max apparently, it will be extended to 512 with soft update apparently, mine works with 256GB card, both sims 4g at once, can uninstall bloatware with few exceptions, can disable internet access to apps, advanced batt saving options, app cloning like 2 whats app for 2 accounts for 2 sim cards.
cons: tries to stick to 4g even when 0 bars (sometimes flicking to 1 bar) of signal, when 3g is full bars and goes 20mbps, in such case need to manually enforce 3g, it happens only in my basement and i travelled few countries.
