3GB variants usually don't offer smooth experience on MIUI phones, so that's another thing to consider.
You should consider options from Realme as well. I'd recommend Realme 6i, Realme 3 Pro, Realme 5 Pro & Realme 6 over these two phones.

Anyone who knows what kind of performance, camera, display quality and such you can get in price of this phone will never recommend you this phone.
In my country, you can buy Realme 6 & Realme 5 Pro in this range. Which just makes you laugh at fans of this phone.
This phone rivals Redmi 9 & is beaten by Realme 6i (performance, cameras, battery, stability).
Even Xiaomi MI A3 is a better option. At least you'll have decent cameras.

mei, 12 Sep 2020should i buy you ? does have a good camera ? and the batter... morebattery life is good. I usually consume just about 40% through my day. I'm not a heavy user though. wifi is always on, I use FB Messenger throughout the day, texting, some email, and some light browsing. I don't play games on it. charging is a bit slow though. you'd need one hour to get 45-50%. camera is meh. specially video recording. it can only do 30fps at 1080p, and it keeps searching focus. so focus keeps going in and out. picture quality is okay, it does the job for snap shots.

does anyone have any idea on how to downgrade the latest version to 12 to 11 theres too much bugs in miui12 ive read countless reviews and suchs others are still in miui11 and they seem fine having playing/social media/battery life .

I can personally say I don't recommend this phone. For normal usage like texts, calls, emails and browsing, it's okay. But I really didn't expect to experience lags on such specs. I think the miui is the main issue here. My friend has an android one Xiaomi phone and it's way more optimized even at lower specs.

Just found a thread on XDA forum and there's a way method that SUPPOSEDLY fixes all game lags.
Check it out and try it. It doesn't require hiding notch.

Anonymous, 11 Sep 2020its slow -_- i dont like the new user control its too slow ... moreexactly. I wish they optimized it first before doing the new interface. good thing we can turn off the new control center. the older one is still faster.
I did however received the same update today. I'm not sure why they did that though. it's exactly the same 12.0.3.0 I received a while ago. so far it seem to have improved a bit. can't say exactly yet as it's only been a few hours since I updated it. could just be placebo effect of it being "updated" again. but we'll see.
but so far, I'm just not a fan of MiUi. this is definitely going to be my last Xiaomi phone. XD
