Anonymous, 16 Jul 2020Nokia 5.3 the smoothest everNote 9s (Note 9 Pro in India) is 2 class above Redmi 9, and also Nokia (HMD Global) 5.3, with way more powerful SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G, and more efficient. Also it runs smoothly with 4GB of RAM, even in games..
And the price is lower than 5.3
Best but for 150 euros (140$)

the redmi note 9 has launched at a really impressive price. Mediatek's Helio G85 has a solid GPU integrated for a powerful graphics experience while playing heavy games

The phone is not optimized yet to the games so it's chipsate is has a ducking trash performance.
I wouldn't reccomend buying so. You can search xiaomi rsdmi note 9 lag issue and you will see many results

Redmi Note 9 has been integrated with decent features and I think it is completely capable of providing some solid gaming experience as well.

Launched in India today. Got 6GB RAM and 22.5 W charging.
But the main camera sensor is mentioned with 1/1.7” sensor. This app is larger than the international version 1/2”. I didn’t expect that Xiaomi will upgrade the camera as well based on the region.

a little tip for those who recently updated their phones. Do a factory reset. I know some are gonna say this is not necessary since the phone will reboot a few times when it's updating. but a clean format will have an effect. backup everything and do a factory reset. I did it with this phone and I haven't experienced any lags. I did the same with my Samsung J6, that phone was quite slow and it improved a lot.

also, miui has a lot of bloatware. just get rid of 'em. disable ads as well. those things, how little they may be, have an effect on ram management.

after two days of usage, I noticed a very big issue, which is the fullscreen mode using gestures. the keyboard randomly closes while typing, sometimes even the app itself (messaging and fb messenger) closes while typing. it's like the back and home gesture is getting triggered while typing. initially I thought it was just the Gboard so I tried Swiftkey and same thing happens. anyone else experiencing the same thing? any work around this issue?
at the moment I had to stick with the navigation buttons. I do love the fullscreen mode but this is a very annoying glitch.
