Downsides of this phone are mediatek and lcd screen! It would be much better super amoled screen! Snapdragon chipset is real beast.

Think about that if you use same phone for 3 years or more than 3 years and you don't buy any new phone! I think they intentionally destroy camera configuration, user interface or something you love from your phone by update. The reason is clear to make you buy a new phone! I know that my Xiaomi mi 9se is excellent phone with perfect camera. But you see they update it! Make us think it's useless camera. So they're showing 64 mpx or 108 mpx camera! The only reason is to make us buy new

the lowest price i found for RN8 pro (helio G90T), currently on online stores is 173$ for chinese Rom + some bucks for taxes = will lower than RN9 with helio G85

Camera confi... moreFactory reset your device (first make a balckup), and it will be solved, but before that i doubt, Xiaomi, or any other OEM, does not have magic to resolve OTA some of the problems of Android open source fragmentation. At least one in a year (after 20 MIUI updates..) You can make hard reset of your device (if you have problems like this one or any other with your {any} phone). Then it will be like new.

Even (now) Xiaomi Redmi Note 9s global version is about 160 euros, with Qualcomm 720g SoC, and at least hole punch in the middle (also with fps on the side, so back is clear like it sould be). Redmi is crazy with this pricing, yes we all know for 20 days, this 180 euros will be 150-140 euros (for basic 3/32GB config), but still.. Even Apple have now lower price, Xiaomi what are you doing? And why don't you make smaller, and not that fat phone from Note series. Even your old Redmi Note 5, 6 Pro, was about 8mm.

I bought Xiaomi mi 9 see roughly one year ago! Camera configuration was excellent! Then I updated it! Now it totally sucks! Tell me Xiaomi what have you done!? When I zoom photos there a lot of ugly LINES! XIAOMI SOLVE MY CAMERA PROBLEM

1080x2340 makes it Tallll, a 1080x2160 would have helped make it Wide and convenient, not everyone is into Games (Gaming chipset)!
