I don't know what they changed for the battery charging, I'm still on miui 11 (11.0.1.0) maybe you should complain via mi community, or via feedback (updates / three points / more / feedback) they should mostly be criticized for not like, and give suggestions what to fix, it is desirable to add all the information (phone model software version-scrernshot) suggest to add software option for fast and slow charging (something like samsung) the user chooses whether the battery will be charged quickly or slowly (I think this is a great option)

Fahd, 27 Jun 2021the restart issue has destroyed my redmi note 9pro global. ... moreThis algo happened to me two days ago. I kept the phone discharged and gave it a rest for a whole day. Today I tried to turn it on and it worked fine, BUT it doesn't work with any of the SIM cards signals. I'm so frustrated and pissed off right now.

Padlock applied to each app. Power saving unchecked... moreyes, in security settings / battery and performance / active apps - you have to turn off battery saving for each app - if you want that app to work (and you can change battery settings directly through that app, just keep your finger on that app, Additional settings will appear, -about the application-and there you can change various settings / notifications ... battery savings ... there are many additional settings)

the restart issue has destroyed my redmi note 9pro global. I tried hard resetting my device. but it didn't work. in fact the reboot issue didn't let the hard reset complete and it turned off in the middle of the process then it kept on restarting. I can't even switch off my phone. it turns back on and keeps on rebooting. one thing I've noticed is that when even my finger touches the power button even when I'm not pressing it the device gets out of the restart loop error and boots up.
the issue that restarts my Redmi note 9 pro ia the power button sensitivity. now i understand. when it gets stuck in the reboot cycle and doesn't turn on so upon touching the reboot button ( not pressing) the phone turns on. this is power button sensitivity issue fix this team.

Ive been using this phone a year now and still it is good, the battery still lasts a day although I noticed that MIUI 12 and Android 11 update degraded its battery. Not to mention I am also experiencing occasional Ghost Touch starting MIUI 12.0.4.0 Android 10 and still happening even in Android 11.
