My 2 cents:
My rn9pro didnt update. I was in miui 12.0 A10. Miflash or any other program didnt show it. So i downloaded Fastboot global 12.5.7 a 11. Installed all drivers, verified fastboot device and then used the install all .bat file to flash (clean flash). I have my active MI acount. In first boot it showed 13.0.4 update. I updated, then showed miui 14 update, now im on.
So for those out there that cant update, u need a PC and original cable and fastboot flash first incremental update, then it will work.

Bro until now everything is good the battery still lasts a day 😄 Im using RN9ᴘʀᴏ everyday since I bought this in 2021.

Lost the red/ low battery notification LED light, after I replaced the battery after +2 yrs. Though OEM, but won't show low battery LED, rest for all apps etc. LED light are working, with the latest MIUI 13...

MIUI 14.0.5 is just security update but it fixed the Google Play Update Restart Bug(the one where it reverts to a previous google play update if you use your phone immediately after the phone boots up). I'm gonna miss this rounded edge phone now that I've switched to the Poco F5.

I am using note 9 pro past 2.5years but according to me it has hanging problem,overheating,battery drains fast and also the lens of the camera absorbs dust which is very much disturbing first time i am facing this problem so not very satisfying👎

Patch to update to MIUI 14.0.5.0, from 14.0.4.0 came some days ago, at least for EU version. Nice to see they keep releasing security patches for a more than three years-old device.

A great phone is my opinion. Quite sturdy. Been using it for 3 years. It fell into the freezer once, can't use it due to water condensation but it bounce back after a few hours.
Unfortunately after working hard all these years, the battery is declining. The edge of the lcd burnt - but it went back to normal after a few days. Ghost touch every once in a while.
Overall, a well performing phone.
