Just go with your own thoughts witch one is the best coice, if you choose samsung because it was trusted than go for it, if you want to chose Redmi for some reason, than you should go for it. Also ask your mom which one also she thinks good to her. it's all back to You and Your Mom, for me I will choose redmi, because I already use it for 3 year and I have trusted this device

                    SamsungA51 or Xiaomi Note9 Pro for my mom? She will not play pubg she just want to have stability of interface and to run everything smooth and not get nervous. Since 2013 we trust Samsung brand that never disappointed us (from last year i am on IOS), but now everyone is telling me to get Xiaomi. My fear is cheapest range of Chinese manufecturer that could break down in 1 year... but for this money Samsung can also...

                            Extremely responsive device. Have 2 Pros and a 9S. All 3 have none issues.
                            BTW, I really can't find any significant difference in performance BTW the Pro and 9S....

                              I'd recommend just remove the bloat, no need for a custom ROM.
                              Been using for 4 months, insane battery life + 10 hrs SOT, great camera results.
                              Never faced dust issues around camera, or heating.
                              LTE mostly 4G+.
                              I'm thinking about any issue but have none.

                                      You probably have a software/ ROM issue.

                                      Perform a factory reset, if it persists your device might be faulty.
