It seems you may have got a bad apple. It happens, i bought 2 Mi Max 2 that worked perfectly. I bought a Mi Max 3 and after a month it developed an issue were a part of the screen was not responding. I bought a second Mi max 3 and that has been going fine for more than a year now. That is how things go. Sometimes you get one of those devices.

I don't know why haters complain so much about this cell phone? I’ve had it for months and I don’t have any problems with the software, with the dust in the lenses, with the connectivity because everything works perfectly. I don't have a single problem with this cell phone. I had a Samsung A51 before and replaced it with this phone and it was the best decision of my life because the phone is perfect.

rolandschweiger, 10 Jan 2021relatively good phone for its price, but still i am disappo... moreTotally agree with you. The worst part of the xiaomi is software. The specs are kind of good for the prices, but the software.. Meh.. Just an example, compare a camera quality of this device with Realme 6 Pro even Realme XT. The result just like heaven and earth despite it have SAME SENSOR. Not talking about dozens of bug in MIUI 12 knowing the fact that they even didn't update the OS, only UI.. But the level of bugs is unbelievable. I report through their forum, and guess what.. I've been banned.

M51 is priced to match the Mi 10T 5G. I'd never buy the M51 for its current asking price. I'd prefer SD865 SoC of the Mi10T 5G than heavily priced Samsung branding.

Camera glass protector build quality : Really Bad
I just took my phone today on the table and the glass protector of the camera setup got cracked.
I'm really disappointed with the built quality.

Internet connecting issue
Sometimes it has a very bad poor internet signal recognition.

Minister Katanga, 26 Jan 2021Pls between Redmi note 9 pro and Samsung Galaxy M51 which o... moreRedmi Note 9 Pro/ Poco M2 Pro is a great phone for its price, I own it for last four months. However I recently switched to a Honor 9X Pro (6/256GB, Global variant) as they were selling very cheap during stock clearance in my country.

After the US trade ban, Huawei/ Honor is unable to add Google Mobile Services (GMS) and subsequently Google Playstore in their software. Hence 9X Pro is devoid of GMS is solely reliant on Huawei Mobile Services (HMS). I was very skeptical before & during the purchase of 9X Pro how I will be able to use this device as it lacks GMS.

Now I can safely say I can live with it. Inbuilt Huawei AppGallery and authentic Amazon AppStore fulfills 70% of my app needs in this phone. For the rest 30% I get it from ApkPure app store. In this phone I have completely switched to Microsoft Cloud based eco-system. I trust it. Believe me when I say Microsoft eco system is damn good on Android. Just never used it before as I was so accustomed to the Google ecosystem on Android. In my eyes Microsoft is the saving grace on non GMS Android phones.

Other than the software situation, 9X Pro just obliterates my M2 Pro in hardware section, performance & product quality. The M2 Pro (6/128 GB) retails for ₹16K in my country while 9X Pro (6/256 GB) comes for ₹14K. You also get 10% card discounts over it, time to time.

HiSilicon Kirin 810 SoC in 9X Pro is on another level to Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G found in my M2 Pro. Using both phones side my side you will feel the difference in the fluidity of the UI, be it CPU oriented tasks or pure gaming.

Gaming is awesome on 9X Pro, just look at the scores.

AnTuTu (v8) Scores by GSMArena:

Honor 9X Pro (Kirin 810): 312668
Realme 7 (Mediatek G95): 292828
Poco X3 (Snapdragon 732G): 283750
Redmi Note 9 Pro/ Poco M2 Pro (Snapdragon 720G): 279625
Samsung Galaxy M51 (Snapdragon 730G): 266620

In the end, Honor 9X Pro just blew me away in-spite not having Google Mobile Services (GMS) onboard. I am sharing my personal experiences though, others may vary.

Pls between Redmi note 9 pro and Samsung Galaxy M51 which one is better and should I go for.
