You get what you pay for, there are phones at this price with stable software and few issues (so far), but with weak chip sets and slow performance. That been said, it doesn't by any mean exempt xiaomi from how they screwed miui after it was one of yhe fastest and most fluid android UIs. I think the only phone at this price that delivers on performance with stability and few problems is the nova 7i, but spoiler alert, no GMS and cameras aren't as good as the competition especially on video, again, a sub 300$ phone.
P.S: In my country the phones in this category are numbered: A31, A51, M31, Nova 7i, Realme 6, Note 9s/9pro.

If the Redmi Note 9 Pro had a REMOVABLE BATTERY, i would immediately buy this phone. Yes i know that the smartphone manufacturers educate their customers in believing that glued-in batteries are good, but if more people would put pressure on the manufacturers, there would be more removable batteries. A 5.000 mAh battery is great, but it would be even greater if i could have a separate full one in my pocket, bagpack, car or wherever and yes there are situations when more than one battery is wise.
spec-wise redmi note9 pro appears really good - as it also includes the 3,5mm jack, the infrared-blaster (which makes great sense e.g. controlling the AC unit)
So maybe there is a future midrange or highend model with removable large battery, just incase someone from XiaoMi listens :-)

Humair, 27 Jun 2020I am facing black screen issue during calls what kind of is... moreHello. That black screen issue is not an issue at all and it is normal. And yes it's the proximity sensor. The screen turns off while you're on call to avoid touched on the screen.

These phones are cheap and release is always as fast as they could with premature software that they would promise to "improve" over time. The question is that, how long can you wait for the next update of Fix? MIUI 12 is near but there's no promis of the exact release date.

The rest are all too similar so its really up to you.

i think xiaomi nowadays tends to be sellout. I used to look up the current units as a major disappointment, they are not like pocophone F1 that makes all people put them in the edge of their seats and get excited for the whole year because of the Flagship specifications at the almost midrange price. Now its just a meh.
