Can anyone tell...
whether this phone uses PWM dimming, if so...
which percentage does it start at, and what is the lowest frequency?
Does this phone use the exact same screen as the Redmi Note 6S?

A high refresh rate or amoled (or both) screen wouldve made this a great choice. But without those, the k30 is just such a better deal than this.

Mr Magma, 01 May 2020"Good* IPS displays. This one is trash and has a lot of sha... moreBrightness is also pretty low, 420 or something. K30 goes beyond 500. I do like the single punchhole instead of 2 and a wasted space between them. I don't even need the one camera, let alone 2 cameras or whatever hides under the second hole.

This phone is too big, which means that it's uncomfortable to hold and it's not pocket friendly. Also, this isn't ideal for small people with small hands... I know big phones are trend these days but Xiaomi, why don't you create phones that are just the right size big like 6.5 inch or below? Ease of use is much important than having a bigger view. That's a fact.

omsinchan123, 02 May 2020and no blueshift 👍I'd always prefer a phone with good specs and a good quality lcd rather than an overpriced cheap plastic phone with an old chip set that has amoled, but that doesn't change the fact that amoled is superior, try comparing amoled with ips on dark video scenes and come tell us if you still think ips is better.

I was looking for a Xiaomi's midrange phone with preferred specs, but the products always had something missing. Surprisingly, this phone has everything I am looking for in a midrange phone from Xiaomi:
Snapdragon processor, good camera setup, huge battery, and NFC.
I'll definitely buy this phone.

Does this version really have NFC? I thought the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max (India/Chinese), doesn't have NFC, then why this one has it?
