Chad, 14 May 2020Kirin is not for gamingYou simply don't understand how the soc works, yes Snapdragon beats Kirin in gaming, but only when comparing chip sets with similar or close configuration, the Kirin 810 is similar (or even better) than the sd730G, in this case we have to try 2 phones with those 2 chip sets an test the performance, heating and throttling of each one, here we might see a slight advantage for the snapdragon since games are usually more optimised for qualcomm's processors. But the gpu in the sd720g is inferior, optimisation isn't going to turn a 90 horse power car into a 130 one. In my opinion the 720G is the most overrated soc of the year, the gpu is almost the same as the 710, and it's way behind the 730G and the G90T which would've blown away the 720 if it wasn't for mediatek using an old 12nm manufacturing process.
