He's update is corrupted , he needs to factory reset but best to get warranty centre to install the updated miui

You probably corrupted the update doing irrelevant things while it was updating sapping internet bandwidth. Stop Playstore or ensure it finished it's updates before downloading miui and don't use the phone while it's updates.

That is how you get a corrupted update.
Take it in for reinstall of OS

Probably due to slow internet connection when updating, also other updates like Playstore was probably downloading and installing in the background. When doing Android Security and phone firmware updates disable or complete other updates first. Reboot and then do miui update.

The battery drains too fast. I don't know if it is because of the MIUI 12 update or the phone's battery is damaged. I'm still observing it because I just bought it last week.

No problems whatsoever, im yet to try the cast screen option to see if the flickering issue present in miui 11 has been solved. Reason for updating.
Iv got a new hint now, turn on bluetooth + wifi

Hi
I bought this phone about two weeks ago after a lot of speculation and at first it was good but soon I bad issues during calls either the call distorted or I couldn’t hear the other person and had to call again.The other issue was that while using the camera or during a video call the lower part of screen turned almost blue
Any help?
