Onehunglow is right, i ordered it cos the features satisfies my needs. And i dnt hate xiaomi bluntly so i wnt be biased. Thumbs up Xiaomi!

    All you people sound like panicky little kids. The phone is a $200 phone with an Antutu score of around 250,000. Not everything is going to be up to the standards of a $500 phone. If the specs work for your purposes, then go for it. If the specs don't work for your purposes buy a different phone and spend MORE money if you have to. Personally, I have one on order that I got for $185 shipped and I am looking forward to it arriving and giving me many, many months of strong performance. If you're worried about a little discoloration around the punch hole on a white screen, for gods sake.......spend more money. Some of you people would complain about the phone even if it was given to you.

You also get a more efficient 720G chip which runs cooler at load, which means longer battery life. Also you get a bigger battery (5,000 Vs 4,500).
          This is also cheaper on release than the 8 Pro.
          I might grab one myself next week, but I'm still waiting for more reviews.

                  If you wanna phone with IPS panel and hole punch, or notch, or just mediocre 18:9 screen.. (those IPS panels are mostly in low end and in mid range, like this one), be prepared. It is not something you can't use to it (esp. if you're Xiaomi Redmi user, because backlighting was also on: Redmi 5, 5 Plus, Note 5 AI, Note 7, Note 8..), but, yes, it is there, on white backgrounds is clearly visible.

                        i dont have any idea about the bad issues, i only knew about the good specs(fit for my own interest). and reviews in youtube. however i continue researching. and i see lot of comment about that screen bleeding. iwas the redmi note5 plus user. and i plan to upgrade into this unit. so thank you. because you gave me reason to continue with this unit. im confidently waiting my ordered items. :)

                          Just a heads up as GSMARENA forgot to mention in the specs that Redmi Note 9s does supports HDR10 and it can display 1080p HDR content from Netflix.

                              Only some units have screen bleeding issues, my device doesn’t have the screen bleeding at all.
