I use it, and my experience after using this phone is 4 star out of 5. At first, I decided to buying samsung galaxy J2. But, after launching of redmi note prime indian version, I compare it with Samsung galaxy J2. Then realize redmi is better than samsung, RAM, ROM both are double than J2. Even J2 config with sAMOLED, But lower in ppi and resolution, but high color saturation, which strain your eyes. there are no option to customize color saturation. Where miui provide it. and display, its resolution, ppi everything is standard.Soothing for eyes. No heating problem. Replaceble battery. Only pros of J2 is 128GB expandable memory. Where redmi come with only 64GB expandable memory.

Anonymous, 26 Jan 2016How was redimi note prime..?? It is very good phone. But if you are a very heavy gamer then this is not for you. In terms of the battery life it is excellent the screen on time is 6 hours.

One thing I am seeing reading all the reviews is the frustrated tone and language used to describe the phone by comparing it's predecessor - Redmi Note 4G. I would feel rather comparing with it's predecessor, the review should be more focused on the phone itself. It happens in extreme rare case that one who had purchased Redmi Note 4G, would switch to Redmi Note Prime immediately when launched, but it does happen mostly when one has a different handset wants to switch over. So, comparing only with Note Prime with Note 4G is completely irrelevant. We should try to bring the pros and cons as a new and standalone handset comparing with other phones in the market at the same price. We are getting distracted by the fact what Xiaomi could have launched and what they actually launched. But the point is whether paying 8500 would make me satisfied with the phone or not... new models can come and go... there is no end to Technology. Even Redmi Note 3 if launched today will be outdated tomorrow, but what matters is what I bought and what I needed to buy... that should match for ultimate satisfaction. It does not matter, what is coming next, if someone can wait for the ultimate phone, I guess the person waits forever that way.
So I think we all should look at any model as a standalone and compare it with other brands, same price, features, etc... not loop it with predecessor and get frustrated about the what was not launched, future models, etc. Let's not try to Echo each others reviews and make honest comments pls. Thank you!

Hi, I'm a Samsung fan since their promoting the Galaxy Model to Note Model. This is the best phone ever. When I give a shot Xiaomi Redmi Note prime model it's give a nice touch through this model. I'm loving this phone performance.. Lot's of difference in it. But with this budget price phone I dont expect much coz I know there will be somewhere not nice in it. The Camera saying 13mpx wasn't that grand enough to show off.. But if you go for better camera Xiaomi offering us with their model Mi4i coz the camera spec is taken from Samsung and Sony lens technology. I haven't try yet this model but I hoped there will be a good feedback about this Mi$i model..

This phone MI NOTE PRIME which had I bought was the worst one. The mobile has higher HEATing issues and draining battery fast... I went to their showroom for the repair continously four days... My work has gone vile... They didnt do so well... This problem appereared in the first month i.e., JAN 2016 of the phone purchased... So, Please friends AVOID THIS MI COMPANY MOBILES... Even my neighbor friend tend to bought this mobile but I stopped him.... PLEASE TAKE THIS COMMENT AS AN ADVICE, MY FRIENDS........!!!!!!!1
