Actually Mi cheating Indian fans. Because 1 year back the same spec phone was Redmi note price was Rs.9000/- now 8500/- changes only in its name and 4G.

Best smartphone in Rs 8500
Please Don't compare this phone with high level phone
Soon guys will ask, why their is no mixer and grinder in smartphone

Im so so disapointed about xiaomi. Its not a major update specs compare to the regular note 4g the diffirence is only aditional gig of ROM, miui 7 , the cpu is a bit more powerfull compare regular note 4g( the chipset is still weaker than regular note 8 gig). I think xiaomi will not bring the note 3. Meizu m2 note is much more better than this. There lots of weaknees i this phone:
1. Bulky at 9.5 mm
2. Cheap plastic gloosy
3. Weaker chipset compare the regular note 3g
4. Android 4.4 is very dated
5. Boring design
6. Only availible white colour

All those who are disappointed by Xiaomi get prepared LETV is coming on 5th Jan 2016, Xiaomi will soon parish in India if it did not do anything serious right to regain faith of Indian fans.
And those who were wanting to buy Redmi Note 3 and cannot do the same because Xiaomi is like never going to release it in India or I can say till the patient dispute is settled there will be much more better options in the market, then get ready for LETV 1s which has exactly the same specs at a similar price point.

xiaomi cant sell mediatek device in India (like redmi note 3g, Redmi Note 2) because of patent issue, so what they do just change CPU from mediatek to snapdragon thats it. And phone got some features like quick charge, dual 4g etc.......

Its not good as redmi note bcoz in redmi note prime just screen is large & new UI that is MIUI7only rather all the things r same so finally bad choice for note prime in this budget

I am waiting for redmi note 2 prime but they are releasing redmi note prime with same processor of redmi 2. Now I am going to buy G 3rd gen from flipkart If price drop on offer days 21-23 December.
