In people’s past experiences, Redmi is low range and budget smartphone, different from Mi smartphones. Its killer tactic is the pricing from 700 yuan ($108) to 800 yuan ($123). However this time Redmi Pro hits the price tag for Mi series. Redmi Pro is the most expensive Redmi series smartphone ever, and Xiaomi positions it as the all Chinese smartphone, powering MediaTek Helio X20/X25 Octa Core CPU coupled with 3GB/4GB Ram. And the variants with 32GB, 64GB, 128GB are offered. The 5.5 inches OLED display shows sharp, gorgeous and vivid image. The 5MP front camera makes great sense to those selfie lovers, and the 13MP rear dual camera takes great photos. A fingerprint scanner is embedded in the front Home button.

Anyone having problem with the camera app? Pictures taken with any camera app on redmi pro gets inverted. The modes menu also appear inverted even though auto-rotation is switched off.

AnonD-580715, 05 Sep 2016Still Hot, the question is why xiaomi can't handle it?Hi guys,
I really like the Look + capacitive Home Button
Slightly better than Redmi Note 4 specs
But reviews say getting too hot and draining battery
Is it OS issue (hoping to be fixed by updates)
OR hardware thing being Helio ?
OR should I go for Redmi Note 3 Pro (Snapdragon) - better battery life ?
Confused now
